I would love to see Fleck come to Texas but I don't think he has a history of working in a Texas based program which could make it a challenge for him to recruit at first. But whoever signs Fleck is signing a winner. Very similar to Fuentes at Va Tech who is turning that program around quickly.
Other names floating about are Chip Kelly or Chris Peterson. I think either of these is a long shot.
Truthfully, I think Herman is already on board and they are just waiting until 5 minutes after that last gun in Texas last game to dump Strong and announce Herman as the new coach. If so, Texas will be back soon and it's about time.

you insulted me and the university of texas...look at the tone of your initial post. i regret my language, but you needed a lecture. there is a way to be critical without being an a-hole...educate yourself on the traditions and history of the university of texas at austin football program...you come across as ignorant...i will infer that you must be under 25 years of age...or maybe its just a lack of maturity...hook em'
Insulted you? With facts? That wasn't an insult.
But this is - You must have gotten divorced this week or something to have this kind of reaction, I don't know what is wrong with you. Also, you called me a degenerate gambler on a GAMBLING FORUM POST - ironic since it appears by the number of posts you've been hanging around forever.
Thank you for letting us all know you are a HUGE Texas homer and any of your picks regarding them are slanted.
Keep your emotions in check, this is business child. We're done now.

one thing is for sure, a degenerate gambling loser like you knows nothing about the history of the UT Football Program, its academic reputation, or its fanbase. Texas is the premier is the premier college football job in the country. Granted, it takes more than money. Texas, its alumni and its fans want to win at an elite level. Texas high school produces 350 D1 players per year. With the right coach, in the right system, we will be elite again. Coach Strong is a good coach, but his lack of attention to detail and his loyalty to submarginal coaches along with trying to rebuild after the entitlement cluster**** country club atmosphere that Mack Brown left, he has had some obstacles. Texas will be fine...and Texas A&M has never been nor will they ever be the premier university and college football program in the state of texas...so go **** yourself, hater...
