Also I ask a question about two teams. I gave the info that I had ,and the answer was this .Where did ask about OSU and USC.
Because Michigan on a good day is better than utah and they are capable of beating utah by 7. I hate when people get mad or act like someone is stupid because a line is not what you think it should be. If you think utah is the play at +7 then put your money on utah and stfu. I can hear idiot osu fans already crying because usc is favored.
colt 45 you sound like your brother-inlaw Did I say I was mad about the line

if you are a good football player and you got a offer to go to utah or michigan what would you choose? thats a tough one...lol. michigan will always be the team a player picks and it should be. michigan may be starting with new kids but they have some of the best new kids to start with....

I agree with TOMWHITEWINS the talent pool in Michigan is way higher than in Utah. Its recruiting and depth that will win this game. Besides if Michigan loses another home opener in the big house they just may kill Rodriguez. On the other hand I don't agree they will win by 26.

Its a trap line. It could go either way. Utah can pound the football and thats what there probably going to try to do, but Mich has a really solid front defensive line. This game could go anyway. I would take the 7 points and put a small play on it.

And you say this because the kids they have are better because it is Michigan? Wow, what a bad assessment! HOw many kids did App state have drafted last year and how many did Michigan have? Now who won the game?

The problem Michigan is going to have is on offense. The offensive line is nothing short of full blown disaster. Its bad enough to lose guys like Kraus and Long. Add 3 more guys who were counted on to start and now you have a major problem. Zirble was going to start at left guard until a season ending knee injury last week in practice.
Depth is so bad they convered a guy who wasnt even on the 2 deep from the DL to play OG. He was a former TE who has never played on the OL and didnt block in HS. Staff claims he is odd on favorite to start. If you are trying to be objective here, this probably going to be the worst OL in the big ten. With a quarterback who has never taken a snap in a live game at this level that is not a good combination. Losing 2 starting WR to early outs to the NFL is not good either.
Toss in a new staff, new offense, new terminology and new players and you have the basic ingredients for an offense that WILL make a truck full of mistakes, especially early on.
Notre Dames issues werent talent. Lack of experience on offense just killed them last season. ND's defense last year wasnt anywhere near what Michigan's will be but it wont matter in most of the games early on.
IMO for Michgan to win this game they have to hold Utah under 20 and Im not sold on the idea that they can. Everyone (supposed experts) convinced that Michigan will have this great defense.... what is that based upon? Yeah, they do return a lot of starters but this is a defense last year that gave up both points and yards. Ranked 58th in rush defense. What for me is problematic is the run defense in the last 4 gamse averaged 220.5 ypg.... the best the run defense did in that stretch was holding MSU to 191 rushing yards.
I think Utah can force UM into several short possesions offensively. I think Utah covers and RR hasnt got the best track record in taking over a program where there is this kind of change in offensive philosophy.
Utah wins straight up

ly MI lost to App. ST. in their home-opener so they could lose again with a new coach, new o, new qb, etc. wouldn't personally lay here even with the perception of Big-10 being better than MWC. We all remember what Boise did to Okl and Adrian Peterson. Utah is a good team with lots of returning starters. Take your pick here, i'd rather have the points. GLTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was the running back that got suspended projected to start?????? I believe so but unsure. I'm not sure of the over/under but I don't see many points; 45 tops. GL

Bamboozle.........Very insightful. Look forward to more of your posts/replies. You have done your homework and know your s**t! It's going to take more than RR to bring back UM mojo. It may take the resurrection of Bo Schembechler and that might not work? Utes ML the way to go in this one!

Shaw and McGuffie are slated to start at TB. If you look at the most recent depth chart release you see some additional surprises.... I dont know if its because the philosophy doesnt fit the athletes they had as starters on offense at skill spots last season or if its more due to RR and his staff choosing to throw the young pups to the wolves and get some seasoning with an eye towards next season.
There is enough talent that anything is possible but I just cant look past the OL....
