very interesting post... i remember following your picks last year... from about mid-October to the end of the year you were very solid... but not so much at the start of the year...
my suspicion has been that you need to revamp your early season philosophy, and this post confirms it...

And I am the one laughing if you really don't thinl college is much better than nfl to bet
Has nothing to do with being the better man my friend. Its just that I like to see teams play alot of games before I put my hard earned bankroll into action. Im a stat guy and love comparing teams SOS rankings/ mindset/situations etc . I dont develop a feel/confidence until around November when i can see what teams are doing at home on the road and ATS. I wager large sums of $. I need evidence.Check my posted plays from around 10-27-08 to end of Dec.This is when I get in a zone. The season starts Sept 3 my season starts November.1
I actually do better with the college. End of Nov /DecNCAA tournament and bowl games.

Well, I love the stats too, and I use them before the season starts and how they are coming into he season.
I am not one for bragging about how much I throw down, but I have more 5-10Unit plays in Spet than I do it oct, when I scale it back to 1-2 UNits. My Units are based on 100. I will go up to 20 Units on a single game. If you do more, cheers to be in that situation. I have a hard time putting the value of a car into a game. Thats when It starts to get out hand for me.

wizer- All I mean is that I don't get 6 weeks to evaluate the games like this all yr. The 1st 2,3 weeks I have already broken down the game and just have to tweak it a lil if I see soemthign in their 1st couple of games. I really think that is the part that makes the regular guys have a better chance as well as Vegas not in mid season form.
As you said though, to each his own, and if yours works for you, I will know who to talk to come Nov

I did start off the last year ICE Cold in CFB , but Like I always say I am in this for the Long-Haul ... In Oct. things did pick up and it was a good season
.I will not ??? how I do things based on 1 years results as I have been usuing my PSR's system for 14+ years now...
Every year is different and I feel great this season having all my CFB Futures and Week 1 NFL plays already Wagered ....
Now I am just totally focused on College Week 1

Beware of taking Cal and giving a big number. Cal is 0-4 vs non-con teams when giving 10 or more in the past two seasons. 3-7 overall the past two seasons. Not the most impressive numbers I have seen. This is oging to be a pass goame for me, more than likely. Too many people looking at it, which means there are games out there that few, if anyone is looking at. Those are the games you make your money on. Not the headliners. Find me a few games that no one is payng attention to and that have a solid number. I do not have to worry about the number changing, and can take my sweet time wagering those games.
