I love the over in this game. Yes, Ohio st. has shown to be able to slow people down and they have 4 guys on that def. that will be playing in the NFL( we can debate that in another thread, but they will be).
That being said, Ark. has way to much firepower for them and Ark. is goin gto give up at least 30 points. This one has over written all over it. I say that meaning that if I were to bet this game, I think the over is the best bet as opposed to a certain side.

Just because a team is from the SEC does not mean they are better than their competition....Be careful with your thinking

Ever since the mention of Arkansas vs. Ohio St came up, I figured the line would be OSU -3 and eventually move to OSU -3.5.
Which seems about right to me. Everybody who I know is a huge Hog fan and they all seem to think the Hogs will beat OSU... and easily...
But I lean towards Ohio St simply because their defense is so dominant. A hard game to cap in my opinion.
I do not think OSU will give up 80 yd TD passes with :06 on the clock before half-time a la LSU and in fact, I think OSU will be able to limit big plays period. If you take away the big plays from Arkansas you severly limit their chances of winning.
I will say that Knile Davis has become a legitimate running threat for the Hogs and if he gets going like he has been the past 5 games (130+ yds/per game) -- Arkansas will win.
I've doubted Arkansas at times this year... like when I took Bama -7 and LSU +3.5 and I lost a lot of money because of my uncertainty.
I do think Ohio St will win but the Hogs have surpassed my expectations all year.

You do know that Wilson played better than Mallett that game vs Auburn. 25-34 for 332 yards and 4 tds. They put up 43 points, and you think they would have done any better with Mallett in there? They allowed 65 points!

Mallett was in there for a while. He had worse numbers. 10-15 96 yards, much worse yards per attempt. 6.4 to Wilson's 9.8. I agree if he had more attempts he probably would have improved his numbers. But to say Arkansas would have done any better with Mallett is ridiculous. Wilson had a damn good game.

i think ur missing his point. theres not many QBs that could have done better than Wilson. Mallett is a great QB, but he is prone to costly interceptions, and like moo said, i dont know if mallett could have done much better
