I still didn't care ND was the biggest bet. Matter of fact, Knicks last year were backed huge in games I backed them in and I hit at an 80% clip.
Loved the spot for ND at home against a backup QB. If a kid hits a 32 yarder, just like the early INT's in the OSU game, it's a totally different story, but I'll take my lumps with these two.

Not sure where your head is at. I'm 4-3 in CFB this year. If you followed you actually MADE money.

Yeah so when you were on Houston and down 4 with :51 seconds were you sitting back with your legs up saying "I got this".
No, you got lucky.
And when Notre Dame was driving for the winning TD and was in the red zone of Louisville on first down were you saying "I go this" with Louisville? And how big was your sigh of relief when they missed a 32 yarder?
No, you got lucky.
You see in the short run, those picks lose.
But its called managing a bankroll.
You take the losses and in the long-run, guys on those games typically lose everything (if they keep betting the same way, thinking they'll get lucky) and I stay in the game profiting.
Been on this site for 10 years back to Wagerline.
You? You've been here for...10 minutes...

Except I didn't stink up the joint.
If you had Louisville and are patting yourself on the back saying what a great win that was, you are an idiot.
In the same way, I won't sit here and sulk because I had Notre Dame. That would also be idiotic.
You have learn the nuances of capping and the results and if results are just L's and W's like I said with poker, you will lose everything in the long run. Every penny.

The picks lose huge?
For all the hoopla yesterday with OSU, a game that had dozens of posters coming in and saying a -23,000 ML was going down ended with a casual OSU win 42-27: a 15 pt win. The spread was 35.
And the typical brainless idiot says, LOOK AT HOW MUCH HE MISSED BY (this guy with the "His pick lose HUGE" comment).
But did I?
The result came within 40% of the final number.
To put that in perspective, if you play a 10 pt spread in the NBA, it's equivalent to your team winning the game (leg 1 achieved) but only winning by 4 (leg 2 fails and is only 40% there).
That is losing HUGE? That's a HUGE miss?
Folks, look at the bashers.
These guys? Not too bright...Not too bright at all. They don't even understand what a cover or a miss is.
And here they are, congregating in my thread, bashing picks that either are just barely missing (SIX games I posted screwed me on the LAST play of the game or fell .5 pt outside the number by some ridiculous screw up), or when they lose, really aren't the terrible losses they try to make them out to be.
When the money truck rolls in, these guys better jump out the way into the gutter, because I am coming FULL FORCE their way.

Even crazier, they're down and I'm actually up.
And then when you cap a game for them, they bash THE RESULT if it loses, say nothing if it wins, and before the game have NO REASON to play either side otherwise!
If they are true to their word about how bad a certain cap is, they should be rich!

Scal, I would like to throw one back with you some day. I bet we would have a long and healthy conversation about sports. However, I have a proposal for you, let me make the picks, you do the write-ups, that way we work together as a team. PM if you’re interested. Offer expries after today (exp 11/23) |

wow , ten pages of useless info. scal , I had osu before I read your input - Show me the guy that never loses and ill show you a liar.
Stay with it man - you only got a couple more pages of useless bashing
Think of it this way - if they didn't give a garbage about your opinion, why did they read your post and give you grief after the fact? This site is like a Housewife show

Snork, there wasn't a SINGLE poster who could give me ONE legitimate reason to take Indy.
That is the crazy part.
And in the end OSU put up 42 on them. It's not like they didn't score as expected. I was 8 points off. I expected 50.
But my god. Three turneovers in nearly one quarter is as bad as OSU could possibly play against a ridiculously bad defense. It was shocking.

Scalabrain, your pick blew. It was pathetic. GTF out of here if you think differently. I can't believe this bullsht is still at the top of the threads, and it's only because of your g&y fkkn excuses. You are a loser, and will always be a loser, because you can't move on.
