The problem with what you are saying is that I capped the game from top to bottom.
Say what you said to a guy who comes on here and posts:
OSU -35 (and that's it. No write-up).
You have no idea how bad the QB is for Indiana. I bet you don't even know how to pronounce his name. I watched Rutgers annihilate him.
You have no idea how much more dominant OSU is than a team like Indiana. And 35 really isn't all that much. I watched OSU destroy Rutgers by more than 35 and Rutgers pretty much destroyed Indiana.
Does that mean you should just lay 35?
No, you cap it. I capped it...fully.
And to say the weather had nothing to do with this is foolish. It turned a lot of this into a ground game. You think OSU has THREE turnovers in the FIRST QUARTER to this atrocious defense? Please.
You think Indiana played inspired D and caused that? No, there were other factors. The game started perfectly with OSU up 14-0 and you could hear a mouse fart in this thread.
The game ended with OSU scoring 42 despite ALL the blunders and poor play. That's pretty damn good.
You can't turn the ball over three times in nearly one quarter and expect to cover a 35 pt. spread. Is it an excuse? No. It's a reality. I did not foresee the weather and the early miscues and the fact that would of course, give Indiana confidence. Indiana deserves credit too, I won't deny them that.
But where are the reasons to back Indiana? Where are the posters showing me why it's a legitimate side? There isn't A SINGLE ONE from a SINGLE poster. Why? They have no idea who the hell Indiana is, except maybe if they are from Indiana.
SO they won by 15. When you spot 35 points, the best you can do is cover by 7 or 14. But if the other team gets some breaks, it can look REALLY bad at -35. That is THE RISK YOU TAKE with a -35 spread.
You should know that better than anyone.
Then of course in the nightcap, you make it sound like the ND pick was a homer pick. It wasn't. The guy missed a 32 yard field goal to tie. Who do you think has the advantage going into OT? Louisville? At ND? Of course not. So who got the break? What was the right side? Louisville just because it hit? So Denver on that Jets pick 6 was the right side, just because it hit?
Notre Dame was the right side regardless.
And I'll take time off when I feel like it's time to take time off.
I don't need your advice on it. Why? Because my college football record has WON PEOPLE money on here at 4-3.
I called the Indiana Rutgers game perfectly last week. Were you there for that one?
Before that I called the Michigan Penn state game perfectly? Were you there for that one?
Were you there when I called this exact same OSU team to crush Rutgers? No.
Were you there when Rutgers missed an extra point vs. Michigan and the only game I lost before yesterday was by a .5 point?
Probably not.
So you can save the 'time off' bit.
Nobody is taking anything off. I have enough credibility on this site to post on this site until the internet burns to the ground while I dance on its ashes.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I'm not delusional. The OSU pick was a straight up loser. You take a risk at -35, a very big risk and you can look terrible if it doesn't hit. You take +35? How bad can you look? 7 off the spread? 10? The upper bound is very low.
To actually take and cap -35 means you have to stones, and a good cap. I had the good cap. It didn't pan out. I'll bet OSU doesn't turn the ball over 3 times in the first quarter for the next 3 years worth of games.
Unfortunately, it happened today...when I was laying 35...
