Lookout folks, Bendi's making a comeback!
Solid play last night on the under, looks like another solid play tonite.  As much as I hate a favorite, definitely appears WV is the superior team on the field tonite.

WVU has a balanced offense that will hurt this overly aggressive Bulls defense. SF on offense will be shut down too 1 dimentional.

Like the play.....

I have a feeling Leavitt is going to "dumb down" the offensive gameplan and not let Daniels lose the game and challenge his defense to win this game. 

If USF can hold devine in check, it's going to be a snoozer of a game....

Completely agree that he will try to do this. But you can only remain conservative for so long. WVU will inevitably jump out to a lead if this happens and they will have to scrap the gameplan. And as far as USF holding Devine in check, that is one TALL task this season. If you put 8 in the box to stop Devine, Brown will be able to hurt you with the speed he has at the receiver position

I completely disagree with #1...

and I really think USF is going to win this game tonight.  They have beaten nobody this season.  They've struggled against teams that are very balanced and are good passing teams.  I think they can load up and stop the run here.  I don't think that Devine is going to run wild.  South Florida is pretty balanced and fairly underrated on offense.  I never trust a WVU defense.  I think this game is going to be close.  Just my take.  But again USF really hasn't played a tough defense all season long to show that they are underrated.  Personally I thought they had a good gameplan for UC, and I thought if the QB idiot wouldn't have made so many mistakes they could and probably would have beaten them.  I'm not complaining because I was on UC in the game.  I honestly was watching the game and felt like I was on the wrong side, early.  I think USF has a good defense they didn't show it last week against Pitt.  Pitt just steam rolled them, and honestly if they played that game 10 times that would have happened maybe once.  Those 12 o'clock games are always weird anyhow.  I remember a couple of years ago when might WVU came into USF, similar situations.  I took USF think it might have been even on a Friday night.  They won outright it was in 2007.  They played WVU tough last year at WVU as well.  Honestly I'm still not sold on WVU.  I looked at their schedule and personally none of their wins impress me.  I really think that these teams are very evenly matched.  This is going to be the toughest game WVU has played all year, maybe with the exception of Aubun only game they lost.  I think WVU is a pretender and gets knocked off tonight.    WVU has beaten up on a bunch of patsy's.  Their 3rd road game.  I'm taking the home dog, think USF outright tonight buddy.  The thing that scares me is if that BJ Daniels tries to do to much for USF.  If he plays within himself, and doesn't try to do to much I think they get it done tonight.  Just my take on the game.

OK so Pitt had Dion Lewis go for 23-111(4.82) and Graham go 11-88(8.0), Cincy had Collaros go 10-132(13.2) and Pead 12-58(4.9)...Syracuse had Carter 13-43(3.3) and would have been more if he didnt just drop the ball in the open field. The only game they had real success stopping the run was against FSU and that is b/c FSU didnt try to run the ball. Now in steps Devine who averages 6.7 yards/carry. Why should they stop him in this spot? Are you banking on USF just being more pumped up than usual? They are about to go on their usual mid-season plunge and you want to be on board for that?!

You are really getting yourself carried away. WVU completely outplayed Auburn but lost due to many turnovers. The Mountaineers are the ones with a balanced offense not the Bulls. Dont kid yourself Daniels isnt gonna beat anyone with his arm. South Florida's D overpursues and against teams with a balanced attack like WVU's they get exposed. Look at what Pitt and Cincy did recently. The same thing is gonna happen tonight.

The USF starting QB was a beast but is now out for the season with a knee injury that happened 9/20..

Also how does USF score if Daniels doesnt try to do too much? They have an anemic ground game outside of him and if he doesnt throw the ball down the field they wont even pick up 1st downs. This offense is made for the QB to be the playmaker with Grothe beginning the season and they obviously arent adjusting well to Daniels tryin to run the same offense. I feel like you are basing your analysis on assumptions that have yet to hold true

No Grothe was not a beast. Daniels is a beast


Have you seen this guy play? He is impossible to tackle. But this is also his downfall as he tries to do too much. But no I definitely know that Grothe is not playing and thank you for trying to insult my intelligence

I didn't say anything about Daniels beating anyone with his arm.  Although he made a few good throws in that game.  That Auburn loss, even if they had won the game, would be less and less impressive now too.  I just don't think they have beaten anyone.  They do overpursue but I don't think they allow Devine to beat them tonight.  Your right South Florida has really struggled with very balanced teams, WVU is very balanced unlike in years past.  I just think we are going to have a closer game then people are expecting.

He does try to do way too much.  Heres what I meant by playing within himself.  If he doesn't try to do to much, like going crazy and actually getting rid of the ball when flushed sometimes.  He didn't do that at all against Cincy, neither did Tyrod.  I can't stand it when a QB doesn't throw the ball away.  Irritates the shit out of, Clausen does a great job at that in my opinion.  Had to sneak an ND comment in there sometime.  Anyhow.  Another thing is wait for opportunities to do things, he literally thinks I think that he can make a play every play, which is just not the case.

Even if the game is close. Who do you see making the big plays at the end of the game?? You see it coming from Daniels who has never done it, or Devine/Brown/Sanders who do it every week?

I'm going to make an educated decision on this game later.  I might add a few units on the over to maybe cover the USF bet.  Although I think I'm alright.  Again I think that USF plays them tough but we will have to see I guess.

The West Virginia offense can certainly put up points, and their defense can certainly give points away.  You would think the over is a good play, but the fact that these games have always gone under since there two teams started to play each other seems to contradict that.  Pass.
