Another situation in which one of the better FCS teams (Villanova) that is use to winning and playing with plenty of confidence and determination is actually winning the line of scrimmage battle against the "big boy" FBS team (Boston College).

This 2nd half line tells me alot as well. 17 point favorites at home down by a touchdown at the half and only need to win by 2 points?

BC might ultimately win this game but I will take my chances with Nova 10 times out of 10 in this situation.

Jesron - If you see my thread I just have to congratulate your boys from SDSU, they rolled like I expected them too 55-14. 

I still played SDSU -33.5 and cashed but I pulled back from unloading on it due to your take on the game. I know you know the Dakota teams like nobody on covers.

Will definitely look to run my thoughts on the Dakota games with you going forward. Have to imagine with the wins by SDSU and the big win by NDSU both states are happy and very optomistic.

Yup, I knew something was up with this game. I'm calling this one early as Eastern Illinois is gonna win this one in a blowout.

Although this is a baseball pick, Im posting it in my rolling thread and locking this in now.

Kansas City +122 (Verlander vs. Duffy)

Everyone knows Detroit is CLEARLY the best team in the division and may be well on their way to a World Series title. However I believe this is a great spot for the Royals.

Detroit not only won tonight but embarrassed the Royals 16-2. 16 runs on 26 hits against the Shields. Ouch!

In Saturday's game you have Verlander vs. Duffy.

Since Duffy got back in the KC Rotation the Royals are 4-0 in his starts and the opponents have scored 2-1-1-1 runs respectively in those 4 games. He has been very sharp!

On the flip side, the Tigers are 0-4 this year vs. the Royals when Verlander has started and he has taken the loss in 3 of the four games.  Verlander has never really hit his stride this year and its been documented that his velocity has continued to decrease on his fastball.

Not even a month ago on August 16th at the "K" this same scenario occurred where Duffy faced Verlander and Duffy pitched a gem in a 2-1 Royals win.

I typically like playing against teams when they have the type of scoring explosion the Tigers had on Friday.  Royals are still in the hunt for the wildcard race and everytime it seems like they are basically out if it they begin to streak.

Really like the way this game sets up Saturday for the Royals. The fact I can get + money is even better.
