Auburn-9. I didn't want to do it. I give K-state at home with that coach a ton of credit, especially on Thursday night. I don't have the numbers but I know that home teams on Thursday night cover ATS at a really high clip. Still, this Kansas state team isn't nearly as good as Auburn. They lost two games at home last year by 10 points and I'm betting they lose another one this Thursday night. everybody. I hope you Kansas ST backers get the line at 10.5 and Auburn wins exactly by 10 point so we all win.

Seeing this as a shootout and
a well played played game by both 
squads. Each of which want to make a statement
on a out of conference opponent.
Although this is said based on what ive seen 
thus far by each.
Add in the return of Nick Marshall which is
the wildcard here. If you think he is as good as
advertised as I do I can see it becoming a track meet
with Auburn pulling away in the end.

Hard to go against the Thurs home team I agree, especially when Auburn has been on a cover run.

Took Auburn at -5 (1H) and -8.5.. K-State is a tough place to play at, but I don't think they have the offense to keep up with Auburn and don't think their defense can slow them down.. Best of luck tomorrow guys..

If Auburn is so good, why is the line only opening at 9?

K State is good enough to run on that lame defense and steal a cover at home.  I am playing with house money this week so I may make a play on K St or over, line movement favors K St.  Small play on K St or no play.

Oh, and about everyone I know had VA over a lame Louisville team, including myself, so you can spare us the constant chest-pounding for a lame "call", ok? Thanks!

K-State +9 For my money. Thursday night home dogs always look like ugly ducklings but seem to work out well. Some folks say K-State is too small and too slow.... I don't have any 40 yard dash times, but I did click on their roster and looked at the offensive line. 20 guys listed, only 1 guy under 280(a freshman) with 9 over 300 lbs. Does that sound small to you??? 10 years ago my mouth would have been watering to bet Auburn, seems obvious. Now I'll bet on home dog Kansas State, feels like the tougher place to wager, which usually works out better for me. Lot of respect for Auburn, maybe the better team on paper, but GO K-State for the money.

It's raining there today...Might throw a damper on Auburns running game...I think Auburn will be happy just to manage a win on the road at this hostile environment...

Kansas State has a dual-threat quarterback of its own in senior Jake Waters (462 passing yards, 193 rushing). Auburn has the athletes on defense to contain him running, but can’t forget about receiver Tyler Lockett (145 yards, 1 TD), one of the best in the country at his position.

K state +10.....-130......home dog sounds great to me. To early in the season to start getting on anybody's band wagon.........let me start with this statement.  Auburn is simply not 10 points better then k state on the road.  They will be lucky to win the game and that will be their objective.  They really don't need to look impressive. What they need to do is win all if their games......period.  This is why the 10 points look so appealing.  It's easy to see that auburn has the better players but will see who is the better team later today

The Linemakers' lean: Auburn may be better this season than last, but laying this many points in Manhattan in an out-of-conference game on a short week is not something we're interested in.  in fact, if the line gets to +10, we're seeing value in K-State as a home dog. 

Our play in this game, though, is on the total.  These teams are a combined 4-0 to the OVER this season, and in addition to the aforementioned trend with Auburn, the Wildcats are 5-2 O/U over their last seven.  Auburn put up 45 points against Arkansas, a better team than K-State, and the Wildcats should be able to score as well.  OVER 65 is the play.

I didn't read the other persons post about past statistics so what I'm going to say doesn't apply directly to him. However, saying that statistics in past years are "COMPLETELY irrelevant" is nonsense. Past performances matter, and are extremely helpful in deciphering trends. I'll be the first one to come to your defense when someone picks a certain way simply because the game is on a Thursday... But don't say stats of the past don't matter at all.

You are clearly very young and need to temper your emotions quite a bit. There are some smart people here, that, like someone posted earlier, are trying to help one another and give relevant information.

I'll have my analysis of this game posted here later, as well as in the forums.

REVERSE LINE MOVEMENT...56% of the public on Auburn and the line keeps dropping. Now -7.5 from a high of about 10. I like Auburn but this line movement screams Kansas State.

Weather is concerning me, I know both teams have to play in the same conditions but it acts as an equalizer, and levels the game for the underdog with slips, bad kicks, bobbled passes/handoffs.  In the UGA/SC game last week, the All SEC kicker missed two FGs because they started at the right goal post but never hooked an inch, just like a golf ball that comes off the club face funny when water gets in between...plus there were botched exchanges on snaps from the center.  In other words, fate plays a larger role.

Sticking with the better athletes, Auburn , to cover but dropping the amount I bet on this game.  Should be an interesting Thursday nighter so enjoy, GL to all of you.

Any site who post lines like that, you probably shouldn't be using. That site does not get graded well. You probably will win your bet, but they already have your money, cuz their ain't paying u bro.
