This is going to be a great game especially if you are a CARDS fan. Louisville should win this game U-Conn is strong in the run game and Cards are  # 2 in defense against the run. Baylor threw on U-Conn and Cards should do the same Cantwell should have a big game passing. Hope the Cards get there special teams game going and this want even be close thats the only week link they got in there game now. Thanks Ron English for fixing are SHITTY DEFENSE.  GO CARDS

Louisville has had problems covering against the Huskies,
Hoping that trend continues tonight.
Although it will be a tough task at Papa John's.

Louis at -3 is a gift.Their run D will shut down Conns only method of attack.Game set and match.Being at home never hurts either.Conn had a hard time with Baylor and the Tsunami with Temple didnt highlight any of their stellar talent either.Bet this early and RUN!

These two have met only 4 times.All in 2000.
2000 in Louisville  score 41 to 22 Cards
2005 in Storrs score 30 to 20 Cards
2006 in Louisville score 48 to 17 Cards
2007 in Storrs score 17 to 21 Huskies
2008 back in Louisville .It will be just like last week. Cards to cover -3 easy.

uconn here.. k-state helped uconn with all those turnovers last week.. i i don't think uconn will be as bad as k-state in the turnover margin, plus they got a better defense..

Got a chance to see both of this teams played last week. I really thinks Louisville is a more physical team on Offense and Defense. With the home crowds and just laying 3 pts. I really like Louisville a lot.. GO Cardinals

Uconn Defense let a Freshmen QB 14/25 for 208 yards and 3 TD...

Anyone that watch the game on Friday saw a Uconn 2ndary get picked apart. I know if Uconn falls behind good luck with a QB that has 1Td and 6 Int. This is a Team that barley beat a Temple team on the road. Last I checked Lville was alot stronger then Temple. The Only TD scored by Uconn was in OT for Game Winner. Other then that it was a  battle of FG...Dont let Victor Anderson Get loose bc he ran all over this GOOD Kstate D that nearly gave up 600 yards in Total offense....

did u happen to see the weather they played that temple game in? horrible horrible weather, which probably had alot to do with temple keeping it close.. as for the baylor game, the reason the qb was able to pass so well was because he was a running threat.. uconn had to spy him to keep him somewhat contained, taking out an extra pass defender or blitzer.. cantwell is not a scrambler.. i think they'll do alot better this week

Ha ha, did you see how garbage, UConn QB is that dude is a horrible.  Everytime he throws you gotta hold your breathe, i'm gonna run with L'Ville on the ML, even though I think L'Ville will come out with another strong effort for maybe a 10 point win.

That was an extremely emotional game for Temple as well.

Stats wise, this game reminds me of the baylor/uconn matchup last week.  Both teams love to run, and both teams have good rush defense.  IMO the edge goes to the Huskies because of what oahuboy mentioned.  This week, instead of having the teams leading rusher (Griffin) taking the snaps behind center, the Huskies will have a pocket passer.  This should allow them to concentrate more on the WR matchups.

I'm hoping Lorenzan will settle down a bit.  The boy has already thrown as many picks through the first 4 games (6) as he did all of last year.  I've watched both teams play, and IMO the Huskies are the better team here, but getting just 3 points on the road is a tough sell.

I believe UConn is in trouble with this one, after last years blown call, and the opposite direction these quarterbacks are going.  The key is UConn's run and Louis run stop defense.... that's what this game boils down to..... I like Louisville.... small play.... Sharp

I've been following UConn for two years and they don't play well on the road. I feel like they in for a let down and first loss.

LOU showed what they can do last week, I hoping they have some left in the tank for this game. My only worry is that everyone is on LOU.

Cards are starting to click. Last weeks win over a semi decent Big XII team showed a lot. UCONN struggling at home against the bottom feeder of the Big XII also showed a lot.

respect uconn;s coach randy essael has he has brought a winner to storrs,  star back brown is a NFL PROSPECT, but no way can i support a qb like this..  like 2game said, you gotta hold your breathe every time he drops back to pass ..  he makes navy and air force qbs look like peyton manning..  look for the ville;s fresman back anderson to have about 100 yards vs this tough conn. D  and qb cantwell to hit receiver deaumont for a td or to to ice the game  ....the ville  17----6

Uconn RB good but any RB that gets the ball more then 30x a Game better get more then 100 yards a Game. And thats what Uconn does to there RB. Im not trying to knock him but this game is at Lou. There off a Nice win from last week and Lou QB finally got his Tyming going and Skill position LVille has More Athlethes and It will show during the 2nd half when Lvill runs away with it...This is FOR oahuboy808:

whether or not the game is a Louisville or UConn, the gameplan will still be the same.. run that ball down Louisville's throat.. if they can achive the balance that k-state couldn't they'll keep the Louisville defense mixed up.. not to mention, UConn has a better defense then K-State. Everyone seems to forget that Cantwell struggled against his only game against a good defense, against KY.. He played Tennessee Tech and the sham of a defense in K-State. He also doesn't have the running ability of Griffin for Baylor, which should also help out UConn in the defensive matchups

Louisville is a lock. I dont even need them to throw alot. I have watched 2 of their games this year and their run defense is really,really good and I dont see UCONN scoring enough to keep up
