Taking UCONN officially now. I don't trust Louisville as a team or Kragthorpe as a coach. Thinking UCONN's run game along with thier opportunistic defense will cover here and possibly come away with the win here. Strong play.
UCONN +3.5 (3.5 units)

Yeah, and UCONN just got by a bad Baylor team...what's your point? Don't try and justify your pick with a garbarge statement.

Really thinking the under is the play. Both teams like to run the ball and both teams are pretty good at stopping the run. UCONN's QB has a 1 to 6 TD to INT ratio. Bad sign for them if they struggle to run.

bdaddy - I have a small play on Louisville, this is how I see it, take it for what it's worth, Uconn's quarterback has been terrible, Cantwell has been alright.... edge Louisville..... both teams like to run, both teams have good run defense.... if they cancel out each other in the run, then the quarterback play is the key, Louisville has the edge in that department.... so advantage Louisville... Small play Louisville.... don't waste too much money on this game, alot better ones on Saturday.... and last night USC game, WOW! It was dejavu! Thought I was watching the same game from 2 years ago.... I love it, way to shake up the BCS.... rankings are going to look alot different after Saturday, Georgia - Alabama playing each other.... I love college football.... Sharp out

I want no part of the side here. Louisville is overrated coming off of last weeks win. They burned me last week and they burned me when I sided with them vs Kentucky week 1. Don't forget that game. They're not that good.
UConn is another team that I have no desire to back after watching them in the national spotlight 2 weeks straight. These Wed/Thurs/Fri games have killed me this year. I think UConn will run the ball against Louisville and with the total at 51.5 my lean is on the under. Let's hope my luck changes tonight. GL all.
Under 51.5

Well I clearly wanted to stay away from this match up but I might give this one a try.
UCONN comes in here like someone already stated on here with a good running game. UCONN ranks 5th in the nation at 285 yds per game. Donald Brown is the nations top rusher coming in here with averaging just about 180 yds per game. Lorenzen's mobility helps him cause his passing game is inconsistent.
UCONN 18-6 ats on the road after 2 non conference games
UCONN as underdogs are 2-10 ats vs the Big East on the road
For a number of seasons I used to love wagering on Louisville at the half at home and that trend was good for numerous of seasons. That trend failed last season even with Brohm behind center. I'm not sure if I can really base anything off of Louisville's performance last week I mean they did look like the old Cards but I'm not sure I'm willing to take a chance on them yet.
Louisville 19-7 ats in home games after scoring 31 points or more the week before.
Louisville 8-0 ats after allowing only 75 yds or less in the last game.
The one thing about Louisville is there defense which has been strong and consistent. I do like that match up the the Louisville defense has up against UCONN's offense. The weakness in Louisville's defense is defending the pass but they are very strong against the run. UCONN's strong point on offense is their running game and I guess we will see tonight which one of these strong points will give in.
By my numbers this is like a lot of people already stated close match up. By my numbers the odds makers has the spread pretty much spot on with a .5 difference in my book.
Leaning on taking Louisville at the half but it makes me
I'll be back....
