NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford has returned to practice after undergoing surgery on his left, nonthrowing hand earlier this month.
The Heisman Trophy winner tore ligaments in his left thumb during a win over Oklahoma State on Nov. 29. He played despite the injury as the Sooners routed Missouri in the Big 12 title game Dec. 6. He had surgery the next day.
Bradford said his current crimson cast is smaller than the one he wore during the Heisman ceremony, but that he doesn't know yet when the newer cast will be removed.
Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson says Bradford is taking shotgun snaps in practice but still isn't able to take snaps directly under center.
Bradford, voted AP Player of the Year on Monday, doesn't anticipate any problems during the BCS championship game on Jan. 8 against Florida.

Easy: Oklahoma +5
Line has moved a full point today alone, everybody is on Florida, Big 12 sucks, no defense, Sam "Heisman" Bradford will stink it up b/c he just won the Heisman, Florida will put too much pressure on Oklahoma, blah, blah, blah
Everybody's going one way, goe the other - pretty simple. I trust VERY, VERY few of the "experts" on TV, here, or otherwise. I trust the common sense eyeball test and my pretty good pair says that Oklahoma is a damn good football team who scores @ will on everybody who crosses their path and has only gotten better as the year has gone on. As for Texas being better; well I can't argue that they won the game but that's about it. I watched the game and truly feel they were very fortunate to exit the Red River Shootout with a victory. OK's defense is very, very formidable - why do you think all the blowouts? It wasn't just offense boys - go back & look @ the 1st qrtr and 1st half scores - unreal. Am I saying Florida won't win? No. Am I saying that Oklahoma is the best thing since sliced bread? No. But..... I am saying that it is insane to not take a gift of +5 with a team as dominant as OK. Think about this scenario: Can you see Oklahoma scoring 1st? If they do which, following trends from the entire year, is very likely, then you are operating with a 12 point cushion the rest of the night! I can see either Oklahoma jumping on Florida 1st or a dogfight all night long - I don't see the Florida blowout scenario as a possibility. Book it!

Excellent analogy bro, but you forgot the first rule in betting a 'dog. If your not SURE the 'dog WILL WIN the game dont bet on them! How can you cap a game and pick a team and hope it ONLY LOSES by a certain amount? Its hard enuff capping, to try to predict the score too is almost impossible. JMO from an old salty dog himself.

thanks for the tip bro but I am going heavier on these last few college games but there is still the NFL left and I don't want to blow my bankroll on 1 game I normally play prop bets like crazy during the Super Bowl among sides & totals, so I need to save some for that
I do like Florida due to Oklahoma choking in Big Bowl games , but I have a feeling that Oklahoma might come out and put up a fight in this one. That's why I'd rather take my chances on the over.
I might change my mind on Thursday but for now I'm on the total.
I love the speed of Florida......but sometimes speed kills
Good Luck

See you in the fall Sharp, always enjoy your posts on this site. Good luck to us both on Florida tomorrow night. One comment about the TCU game, I read Patterson's comments about this game in SI. He said they got caught trying to make defensive substitutions against the hurry up offense early in the game. They fell behind early because of this. In the middle of the 2nd Qtr he changed stratagies and left his players in. Oklahoma only scored 7 points after that.
Florida has been doing extra conditioning to keep their starters in longer for this game. If TCU can shut the OU offense down with their players, you can believe Florida can. That is another reason why I am strong on UF, and now considering an under play. Have a great off season. (BigDaddy--didn't mean you should put all yours on this one, just meant that I was. Still feel Florida giving points is a more likely outcome than the over/under play.)

I'm not hatin here but that TCU/OK game is misleading. OK led 21-0 after the first QTR! If you look at the box score to that game OK DOMINATED TCU before calling off the dogs. Just some info I found when I looked at the box score.Bol to all
