I say Auburn +10.5 and i would not be surprised if they won the game. Auburn has the best offensive line in NCAAF this year. i would also like to point out Florida State struggled against a top 20 rushing team with Boston College, now they have to take on the #1 rushing offense. Florida State is built to pass defend, have you seen their small linebackers, that look like db's. once the offensive line push its gonna be constant 6 and 7 yard runs because the line backers cant push back and then the safeties and db's have to help support the run defense and dont forget Auburn rotate 10 men on d-line so they will stay fresh

This makes good sense to me

FSU's least experienced player in the starting 22 won the Heisman, that's fairly devastating. Outside of Winston, this team is stocked with experienced 5 star silver backs. The defensive side of the ball is particularly shocking, it may be instructive to google "Seminoles depth chart" and review the pedigree of their DLine and LBers. These guys are out of Jane Goodall's wet dream, and due to the lack of a passing game, FSU will load the box with 8 men and teach Gus that maybe a Cornerback isn't the best move going forward.
Much like last year, the team of destiny (eeking out B.S. wins against mediocre teams) meets a buzzsaw of superior talent in the Championship game. FSU +10.

MY TWO CENTS.... YES AUBURN HAS HAD A HELL OF A RUN...LITERALLY. A FEW THINGS THAT POP OUT TO ME....EVERY TEAM THAT HAS PLAYED AUBURN (APART FROM THE ITTY BITTY SCHOOLS THEY PLAYED) HAS GONE TOE-TOE WITH THEM IN SCORING AND PLAYED INTO THEIR HURRY UP OFFENSE. HOWEVER THE ONE GAME I THINK THIS GAME MIRRORS WILL BE THE LSU GAME WHERE LSU BROUGHT IT TO AURBURN AND ACTUALLY OUT RUSHED THE AUBURN TIGERS AND TOOK AN EARLY LEAD FORCING AUBRUN TO BREAK PROTOCOL AND PASS WHICH LEAD TO TWO INT'S AND A FUMBLE. JEREMY HILL ABSOLUTELY STUCK IT TO THE TIGERS. THE SPEED ON THE SEMINOLES TEAM WILL BE ABLE TO FILL GAPS AND SLOW THE RUNNING ATTACK OF THE TIGERS ENOUGH FOR THE REST OF THE SEMINOLE CREW TO SWARM. IT'S GOING TO BE ALL ABOUT THE CONTAINMENT AND THEN WAITING FOR THE SUPPORT TO FOLLOW. AUBURN RELIED COMPLETELY ON THAT OFFENSE AND WHEN TESTED BY A STOUT D LIKE LSU....THEY FELL BEHIND AND CRUMBLED WHILE LSU JUST PLAYED SOUND SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL. THEY AREN'T BUILT TO MAKE COME BACKS BUT SEMINOLES ARE BUILT TO RUN AWAY WITH GAMES AND ALSO CONTROL GAMES ON THE GROUND WITH THEIR OWN BEASTLY BACKS. I BELIEVE FSU WILL MOVE THE BALL AT WILL AND THEN IMPOSE THAT WILL ON D AND FORCE QUITE A FEW PUNTS OR EVEN DUMB DECISIONS BY AUBURN TO GO FOR IT ON FOURTH DOWN. FSU GOT GASHED BY BC BUT THAT WILL HAPPEN ONCE IN A WHILE BY ANY TEAM, BUT BELIEVE ME THAT COACHING STAFF FIXED THAT PROBLEM. (HENCE CLEMSON NOT EVEN CRACKING A 100YDS RUSHING. SAY WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE BUT FSU DESTROYED THEIR SCHEDULE WHILE AUBURN SLIPPED BY THEIR COMPETITION WITH SMALL MARGINS OF VICTORY. EXCEPT FOR LSU WHO KNOWS HOW TO PLAY REAL DEFENSE JUST LIKE A JIMBO FISHER TEAM KNOWS HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE. 42-21 NOLES

10 points is a lot. Seems like FSU is better, but Auburn has been charmed of late. Think you have to take the points and hope Auburn keeps is out of Winston's hands.

Overpay breakdown: Okay.....not really going to break this one down.....been done by everyone and and this is a public players dream game anyways!!!....Easy play and I'm thinking the 10+ is a gift.....spread should probably be -14 based on my projections. So basically the play is Florida State -10 LARGE!!!!!......first half -6 1/2 LARGE...first quarter -3 LARGE!!!!.....halftime- whatever the spread is.....LARGE!!!......FIRST FREAKING EVERYTHING!!!!!!!..........L.A.R.G.E!!!!!!!!!!!..........OMG......I wish I can make a play on the actual flow of the game.....here it is......Florida st gets a big first quarter lead.......the refs start letting Auburn back in the game by letting them hold the garbage out of Florida and it gets a little close by half time!......then 3rd quarter starts and Florida puts up 21 un answerd points!!!.....game over and time to start talking about next years playoff!!!!.....OMG!!!....its really that easy!!!!!......overpay last college game breakdown and good luck to all!!!!......:)

Ok let's start with the obvious. My profile name on here is "tbone4au" so I'm sure it doesn't take a genious to figure out that I am an Auburn homer
I would just like to put my 2 cents in (not sure if they are worth that much these days)
To all the guys using AU's "miracle" wins as reasoning for placing their bets.....you make me laugh. The catch to end the Georgia game was a miracle shot if I ever saw one, but if you watched the game you could just as easily say that Georgia's last TD shouldn't of happened. The went for it on 4th and goal from the 1 and you could clearly see that the runner was down before he crossed the goal line, but they reviewed and said the ruling (of TD) stands. It doesn't matter how Auburn won, they won against a rival. All that matters.
And the Alabama game?? Seriously?? Saying that it took a "trick play" to beat them...umm...correct me if I'm wrong but AU went head to head with the #1 team in the country and were about to force overtime where they may or may not have beat them. So yea, it might go down as one of the greatest game enders of all time, but it's not like they were playing from behind with no time left and needed a miracle to win...they needed that crazy play to not force overtime.
The LSU game? That was at the beginning of the season when they were still ironing out the wrinkles in their new offense. Unfortunately they don't make an iron large enough to fix the defense
I'm taking Auburn, but only because they have great athletes even if their defense does make me want to vomit at times... and I'm taking them because it's a national championship and I'm getting 10.5 from my bookie. I won't say some crap about it being a slam dunk win. AU is capable of passing the ball much better than anyone gives them credit for. They don't pass because they don't have to. I think 6 games this year they had 10+ y/a. If you have a bad defense, you do everything to keep them off the field. Which means using the ground game for some long sustained drives.
Anyway, sorry for the ones that took the time to read this long comment. :)
I'm taking AU, but I don't think it is a slam dunk. They have just as many athletes and are just as fast on both sides of the ball as FSU. As great as FSU's defense is, Auburn will be able to put up points on them. The key to the spread will be if FSU can get some early stops or turnovers. As good as I think Auburn can pass if they have to, they are not built to come from too far behind. But im getting 10.5 points from my bookie thanks to all of the FSU love so I will take my chances with that. Best of luck to you all

"All they have to do"….there is an intangible against a QB that has out rushed every FSU RB….still looking like an overtime set up to me and the kickers deciding it...

So much love for FSU across the country. Auburn Tiger aware of FSU is an explosive offense team so they will come out try to score first and as much as they can and FSU will play catch up all night. The line also seems to favor FSU higher from -7.5 to -10.5 at 5Dimes. This game is more like a re-match ALA vs AUB (+10) in which public didn't think AUB has a chance. Just remember Vegas MUST make their money no matter what so the more the line seems favors the less chance it will become a reality.
AUB may win the game straight up and the point is just icing on the cake.
As for me, I would take AUB +10.5.
GLTA and enjoy the last bowl game. Until next year....see ya....

No one gives the Florida State defense enough credit for this success. Winston has only thrown 18 passes while his team has been down this year.. That is not possible without a really good defense. Auburn can score but I just have a weird feeling that after this long wait Jimbo has his team prepared. In the other hand, Florida State had too much natural talent on offense with 3 NFL WRS, Hiesman QB and overshadowed talent at the RB position as well. I'm looking for Flotida State to run away with this still. If Auburn does not score on atleast 2 of there first 3 possessions I think this game ends rather quickly. Winston has not seen adversity and is rarely down.. Good luck everybody.
Every BCS bowl game has ended with an upset so far this year! I think... This stops tonight and Winston emerges as the favorite to repeat as Heisman winner again.
My final wagers are locked in.
Florida State -10 please Large
Under -68
Florida St 1st Half -6.5
First Half Under 34.5

1 side you have a dog that looks too easy not to take
1 side you have the heismen trophy winner and his potential draft status in the draft
Auburn has no heismen trophy winner this time around
Fla. St. been out-playing their opponents pretty much by 14 pts. at least so why should this game be any different.
below -10.5 or +9.5 is safer to me if you can get it down to that but who knows if they can do it today vs. an opponent who beat Alabama improbably on an inprobable runback.....Fans want to see an entertaining game but either team wants to make it uninteresting as possible for their own sakes...21-45

The layoff can hurt more the offensive side of the ball more than the defensive side. I favor the under.
This is a valid point that I did not consider. During the layoff the DC will be working OT trying to figure out the opponent's O. Combine this with the O rustiness makes for a lower scoring game than the experts think. AUB likes to run the ball which shortens the game. If FSU has any success slowing down AUB running game and I believe that they will this will shorten the game. If AUB has any success slowing FSU and I believe that they will this will shorten the game. All these factors favor the UNDER.
