My two cents is worth $37.50 but here goes FSU lost the first BCS and will lose the last BCS game giving the SEC 10 out of 16.I think the red shirt will come out in FSU QB Auburn will get a pick early and put FSU down and that's when the red shirt comes out and he gives up 2 more and Auburn`s run O takes over and kills the clock.

FSU is too explosive on offense and Auburn is one dimensional. If FSU can stop the run it's gonna get ugly for Auburn!

I am a gator fan and I have been watching both teams for the fact that I live in Alabama but was raised in Gainesville. FSU will be hungry and they play loose and have fun. THOSE OF YOU WHO KEEP SAYING WHO HAVE FSU PLAYED, please look at how they have beaten each team and what the defense did, that is really important. If you beat teams 49-31 that's one set of rules but if you are beating teams 49-10 on avg. and those avg. of 10 pts are during the 2nd&3rd string that speaks volumes. Aub will score points but FSU will score more and cover. FSU will load the box and use Joyner alot of the edge force pressure at the mesh point. I expect for them to play press coverage on the outside because they trust their talent in the secondary and does not have Faith in the accuracy in Nick Marshall's arm as he has shown. I am pro SEC but during this bowl season the other big conferences who played the SEC are showing that the gap in talent is becoming narrower.

I think FSU is the better ball club but I don't think FSU hasn't been punched in the mouth all season ...

Auburn has been involved in some real slobber knockers ...

I think that brawler, us against the world mentality will help Auburn keep it close ... i'll take the points

It's interesting that a lot of people on covers are taking Auburn.  I get that most books want a 50% / 50% side so that the house will make vigorous.  If more than 50% of the people out there are siding with Auburn, why does the line steadily go from -8.0 to -10.5?  I saw the line go to -7.5 FSU a couple nights ago.  I was hoping it would go to -7.0, but didn't.  I had to settle for -10.0 this morning. 
        FSU is dominant on both sides of the ball all season long.  I don't think that will change tonight  The Noles have made me some crazy money this entire season.  I don't see a reason why I shouldn't pick them again tonight.  FSU is the garbage.  It's is a better's dream team to put money on.  Yes, I laid the -29 points for the ACC championship game.

FSU has a roster full of kids from the GREAT State of Florida…  Auburn has SEC talent…  85% of the kids starting for Florida State would start for Auburn so conversely only 15% of the kids in the starting lineup for Auburn would start at FSU.  FSU can beat you through the air and on the ground.  On the other hand, Auburn can beat you on the ground, but would struggle to beat mediocre squads through the air.  FSU has four receivers (three receivers and a tight end) and a signal caller that will play on Sundays.  Auburn has maybe one receiver (he got hurt at LSU – don’t know if he’s back) that will play on Sunday’s and a signal caller that will play on Sunday’s but NOT under center. 

 

The way this game should play out is FSU stacks the box with 8 (spy on Marshall) and go man to man with their five star corners.  On the other hand, Auburn front seven “ain’t” bad and could possibly contain FSU rushing attack, but the back end of their defense has zero chance going man to man with those four aforementioned FSU’s receivers that will play on Sunday’s.  So I figure if FSU can win the punt margin by +4 (force at least four more punts than they punt) the Tigers will have a tough time covering the number.  In addition, have we ever seen a National Championship game with a spread set this high…

 

My money says when Florida State do it…  They do it BIG!  Put me down for Florida State minus south of double digits AND Over the Total for a Dime apiece please.  Thanks! 


Last year the spread was just as High- of course most people new that Dame was over hyped- I def like the over- still thinking of the spread- May just parlay the over spread for what is worth.

Funny, I read a lot about the miracle plays of Auburn. Hmm…you got to be close for a miracle play to work. 10 points is just way too much IMO. Malzahn is one of those coaches you have to watch out for. FSU is one of those teams that can run away with it. As much as I disgust Gus, I won't put it past him to have a sly plan. This will be a good game! It will take an overtime to push it to the over. Maybe, like a 7 period Ole Miss/Arkansas overtime. Extend the NCAA football season a few hours on a Buffalo Wings switch.  :)

Totally agree with that... college coaches usually like to play their 2nd or 3rd string players on both sides of the ball, and because that we don't always know what's the full potencial of a team.. but this is for the National Title.. and the last one in this format.. FSU for a blowout period.

This is the reason why I waited until Monday to put in my picks....at 10.5, im going with AUBURN!!! to cover the spread, might even be an upset!....putting it all in on this game tonight that is my satisfaction guarantee!!..

that,but in my book,the oddsmaker is the man,and if he sets the line
on this game Fla.St. at -10,he is telling me that Fla.St will win this game big,and that is all I need to know.End of story!
I know the line set is not always right,but you have got to admit,they
are pretty damn close most of the time.

Sports always has stories to follow up the spreads

1. A father bought his son a hundred dollar bet at 500-1 for Auburn to win the championship. Auburn was not ranked in the preseason.

2. The last time an unranked team won the national championship was 30 years ago.

3. This is the last year of the regular BCS, which the SEC has ruled.

4. Notre Dame was that high powered team last year. SEC ruled.

Great stories like:

Tiger has never missed from 2 feet…oops!
This guy shoots 95% from the foul line…klunk!
He is on his way to win the race, did he run out of fuel?…sheesh!

It is gonna be a good game….I think I will watch without the worry about the pluses/minuses, the over/under, and the pundits. Mute the TV and break out the cold beer for my friends. Enjoy!

Everybody and every statistic tells you FSU blowout, which leads me to believe the complete opposite will happen. So, far all the dawgs have covered in this years BCS games, I'm gonna ride that train.
