Illinois at Penn State (09/27/2008)

Ill did beat PSU last year.  That was last year.  The difference?

1.  Morelli vs. Clark

2.  The game is in Happy Valley

3.  The game is at night in Happy Valley

Those are 3 major differences between 08 and 07. 

L  word how could you!!!!??? haha. Chalk up a W for Oregon st. against the almighty Trojans....You can say all you want about how USC lays an egg against a Pac 10 team every year, but that OSU team looked pretty solid. Penn State put a pounding on them. Illinois very overrated at the beginning of the year and they are proving that week by week. Penn State Playing a night game, in Happy Valley, against a conference rival. Takin the Lions.  

I feel like a team can look through a Bye week to a game as big as this one.  I guess hurricane conditions don't count for anything either in the Ill. - ULL game right?

not sure if i totally agree with the first statement, but that's tough to argue... but regarding the weather, yea there were some real shit storms that weekend... i was lucky to get a cover on the Mich St game...

but still... i'm just not seeing it from Illinois... i got this line under 14, so i feel pretty comfortable... but i really think Penn St is gonna stick it to ILlinois pretty good... 24-30 pt win...

does this change the analysis?  is it safe to assume you have a substantial bet on the Minnesota Gophers this week?

i said "Penn St beat Oregon St"...

is that not a 100% valid argument against the first statement?  you can't say a team hasn't played anyone, when one of the teams they played beat the #1 team in the country... clearly, Oregon St is "someone"... clearly!  regardless of who they lost to, Oregon St is not nobody...

i never said, OSU is better than Penn St because OSU beat USC... i simply said, Penn St has played a real team... OSU is a real team, if they are capable of knocking off the best team in the country... that's all...
