Huge Heisman implications in this game. Something  smell fishy with the line. I think it should be bigger like -11.5 or so. Ohio State needs to win three  important games this year. Miami, Wisconsin and Michigan.  Public likes Miami, I'll take the Bucks at home. Ohio State19 Miami 10.

 parlay. 
Seeing a score of (no worse than) 28-17 Buckeyes...BOL..

TCAT, thanks for bringing up the under. Both of these programs stress defense, but it turns out they've had good offenses of late. I agree that it will take awhile for these teams to loosen up on the offensive side of the ball. I imagine that both teams have taken some time to prep for this game before this week, and that will benefit the defenses as well.

Ohio State  - 8.5

OSU's size and power on both lines will bother Miami, eventually wearing them down by game's end.  Recall Miami's performance against Wisconsin in the bowl game, only throw in a dual threat Heisman hopeful QB with some solid downfield weapons.

This should be the game of the week imo...The "U" trying to get back to the big time (they won some nice games last year), Harris is a playmaker at QB, they have a really good D line, and they have speed.  They say they want "revenge" for the NC game a few years back (what a joke that is...most of them were in middle school at the time). 

The Fighting Sweaters counter with a dynamic QB, who I believe is getting better and better, a stout run game, and a nasty defense.  This is the same defense that shut down arguably one of the most explosive offenses in the country in Oregon last year.  Buckeyes have enough speed to compete imo.  This game is not in South Florida either....I think it will be back and forth for the first half, but I like OSU to pound them and wear them down.  I dont see shannon's boys coming out ahead in a dog fight, which is what I expect this to turn into.  OSU is the better coached team (assuming Tressell opens it up a bit and does not play conservatively), has better OVERALL athletes (no doubt Miami has  a few guys that are faster and stronger, but I am referring to the 22 guys on the field and the 10-12 guys behind them.  The number does seem a bit large, but I just cannot see the "U" hanging around for 60 minutes..they put up a good fight, but OSU takes it 31-17

Not to mention look what Wisky did to Miami in the bowl game...OSU is on a different level (especially this year...Pryor really grew up in the bowl game last year imo)....Miami does not like a dirty, dog fight kind of game and that is exactly what they are in for imo

I'll be watching the crap out of this game, but I will not play it.  I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.  This is one of those games that will show us how to play the rest of the year.

Like the Bucks here, I don't like laying this much chalk to a talented Canes team but on the road I don't see the Canes covering !

Not really a big fan of  OSU,

but they have one of the top

3 teams in the country. Speed,

talent, and great coaching. I would

be shocked if its close going into the 4th

quarter... OSU large,

Hurricane warning in the Horseshoe. Canes are moneymakers in huge non-conference games. +6.5 looks good to me. we also know how Big 10 teams do outside of their conference
