Navy won me some cash against Army but I really didn't like what I seen in that game. I know was a rivalry game but Ricky Dobbs although good is too one dimensional for my taste. I don't think he will be quite as effective if San Diego St takes the lead and Navy needs to start passing more than running.

San Diego State has faced some pretty solid running teams this year - TCU - Utah - BYU - Air Force

With that being said, I think they will be able to slow down this Navy attack... coupled with SD States offensive speed, they should be able to put up more points.  Should have plenty of fans from both schools in this one.  San Diego States first bowl since 1998 means they'll be pumped.  Of course you never get a lack of effort out of Navy... But in the end I'm looking at a 14 point win for San Diego State...

SDSU -3 in some places now.

The passing game suffers more during a long layoff (timing) compared to the running game. Navy primarily runs the ball so I think that is a plus for them.

Navy also had a tune up game in the middle of this long layoff and that should help

These are just a few of the reasons why,  I am leaning towards Navy thus far.

Military teams in bowl games always seem to be a profitable play.  All hands on deck as the Midshipmen possibly pull off the mild upset in the Poinsettia Bowl. Aztecs back bowling after a 12 year hiatus. Taking the away dog to pull off the upset.

Qualcom Stadiums field is under water and flooded from the rains out there.Google it for pictures,pretty crazy.

if the field is wet that means the ball is wet, not to good for throwing, wet heavy balls do not travel well through the air.

Sometimes a defender may slip and you can get a big play in the passing game. Have to wait and see

Yes, Shacorie. I find this game very difficult to cap, primarily a running team vs a passing team. Now throw in the wet field to all that

Well if S.D. state can stop or slow down the running game of Navy. It will be a tough day for Navy, but if they cant, we could see a mild upset I think
