It's Hard to beat a team twice ... Especially when one uncharacteristically turns the ball over 6 times and still only lost by 7.  Two looks at the option, when it didn't have much success the first time!

If my Irish can beat Navy by 7......Wake can cover 3.  Way too many to's in the first meeting by Wake......they won't make the same mistakes again.

OKAY GUYS, IF HISTORY HOLDS TRUE, MANY UNDERDOGS WILL COME IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF BOWL SEASON - AND I MADE A SMALL FORTUNE WITH TEASERS DURING THE BOWL GAMES THE LAST 2 YEARS...... I JUST MIXED AND MATCHED DIFFERENT GAMES IN TEASERS AND WON A BUTTLOAD OF MONEY!  SO IF THINGS HOLD TRUE - IT DIDN'T REALLY MATTER WHICH WAY YOU TEASED IT, AND IS A MATTER OF FACT, YOU COULD HAVE TEASED MANY OF THEM BOTH WAYS AND WON BOTH WAYS..... IT WAS JUST CRAZY LIKE THAT.  GLTA  AND I'LL HAVE MY PIX LATER IN THE WEEK!   I REALLY LIKE KENTUCKY AND COLORADO STATE..... AND I HAVE PUT THEM IN 4 TEASERS.   sharp

Last three games average score navy 23 to 9  Wake 20 to 18.
 
Last 2 games Navys defense hasen't given up any points.
 
They have shown that they can beat Wake.Looks like the dog to me

Maybe someone can help me with this.... what is the record for 1st half unders in bowl games.  The reason I ask is, seems like alot of these games start off slow due to the time off, so is there a huge under 1st half trend?  I have to try to find out.... seems like there might be with the lay off?  Sharp

seems like the only thing that can stop Wake from winning is motivation... anybody have any info to help gauge whether or not they are up for this game?
 
seems like it can go 1 of 2 ways... either they will be motivated by revenge from the earlier meeting... or they will be disappointed to be playing a rematch in a low-profile bowl game...

Locked in on Wake Forest, Most likely over.
 
As some have mentioned, Navy beat Wake Forest earlier this year. In that game, Wake Forest had 6! turnovers. I can almost guarantee you that won't happen this time. Despite the miserable game, get this, Wake Forest was still 3rd in the country in turnover margain. Plus, when you play an offense like Navy twice, it gets a lot easier to game plan for.

Wake rolls on this one, Hawkeyefan has it right, 6 turnovers made Navy look good in that last game, plenty of time for Wake to pick apart this one demensional offense.

Leaning on the under. As Sharp already pointed out these bowl games sometimes start out slow and sloppy due to the layoff. Navy only attempts about 5 passes a game. That means everytime they have the ball that clock will be moving. The Wake offense is pretty bad too. They only average 20 points a game.

Well stated.......I won't waste everyones time by saying the same and similar things.  Let's go get em on the first game!!!!!  Navy will make us worry......but Wake will pull it out in the end.  GL to you my friend!  Let's have a repeat of last year's bowl pics!!!

Middies find a way to cover this one.
Wake Forest - 22                   Navy - 21
Midshipmen +3                 over 42.5
Last 3 times Navy were bowl dogs they covered all 3 times. Why should thie one be any different?

Alright, believe me or not(U can check my posts from LY and 2 years ago), my boss' son plays for NAVY. This is the match-up he didn't want!! WF is a MUCH better team and will win by 10+ This is my BIGGEST bet of the bowl games. NAVY can't match-up defensively with this WF team. Last game(against NAVY) WF had 6 to's and only lost by 7. WF and the OVER for me!! Skinner will have a field day here and move up the draft charts!

Everyone making such a big deal on the turnovers...Navy outgained Wake anyway despite running eight fewer plays.  Navy ran for nearly 300 yards at Wake , look for more of the same.
