I just don't see ASU covering this game. Look at who the played and none of those wins impressed me against dog teams. Now look at O-ducks & who they played. They had a much tougher schedual than ASU and a much impressed win against much better defense units. I see it like a 46 to 25 game in Duck win.And besides ASU never really plays good in the first by what I saw, by then it will be to late and will be forced to catch up which will lead to some turnovers.Org. to much speed for Ariz.St. if you ask me, which no one has,lol.

When I look at games, the first thing I do is give the game a line. When I looked at this game I would have given ASU 20 or more points. Fresno state was the closest team to Oregon this year with a 42-25 win. Washington beat Stanford and the next week they were 24 point dogs. Arizona State looked awful against Colorado 1st Half and incredible 2nd Half. The safe bet would be Oregon ML, but since the line is around 10 points lower than I thought plus a huge consensus on Oregon. I took ASU +11. Like someone said in a earlier post, when you give BCS top 5 teams single digit lines it normally turns out bad betting on the favorite. This 8 point line should be for Oregon State, USC, or maybe Stanford but not ASU.

He's actually right. Last year big team's that had heavy offenses like wisconsin and Oklahoma state covered huge spreads quite easily and it was easy to just ride those trains. Vegas probably didn't expect bama and south carolina (esp s. carolina when vanderbilt almost beat them on the season opener) to roll teams like they did. Bama has been a defense minded team and huge spreads weren't suppose to be their forte but they're just that good.

And for some reason I feel like Vegas is targeting the SHARPS this game.... primetime spot and they're making people wonder why the line is going down.

Vegas makes plenty and knows those rookies will win today just to lose on sat and sunday.

So yea, I have a feeling they're sticking it to the sharps today. Now i'm leanin oregon....

You are clearly an amateur.  You are entitled to your opinion but  you would not be getting so worked up after a single posting of mine if you were anything but an amateur.  A chump I have no idea of who you are but your posts are clearly square, public and show a lack of sophistication about the nuances of line movement.

You may be on to something there.  Certainly worth considering but it;s kind of hard for me to believe any such set up move would be possible.  Not impossible but it seems unlikely.  Still, a good point to think about for sure.

I keep looking at the line and can't believe it dropped from an opening of 10.5 and now down to 8 in some places.

I checked for ORE coming off the BYE week for the last 6yrs.  6-0 SU and ATS.  3 Home and 3 Away games there.  2 of them vs. ASU in Tempe.

I love ORE in this spot, 46-34.

ASU Played last week on Thursday night at CU, so they'll have a full week of rest. That said, I went to ASU and they never seem to show up for big games, but maybe Graham will have them focused. Discipline has always been an issue for them in big games, I think coach will help with that. 

Also a lot of comment on the mizzou game... they were a missed extra point from taking that one into OT... they had to go for the TD end of game cause they were down 4... not saying they would've won, but that's still a strong showing at an away night game...Could easily be sitting at 6-0.

I don't think ASU will win this one, but I do think they hang. Plus home dog on primetime seems to be a long term winner... they have a black-out night in Tempe, crowd should be in it, and a lot to be said for a 3 or 4 hour plane ride in for the Ducks... sign me up for ASU and SMU tonight.

ASU top 10 D.  Oregon top 10 O.  This is a matchup that will shock the country.  ASU loses to Mizzu on a missed PAT.  They make the PAT and they are 5-0 and a top 10.  Take the points and the under.  BTW ASU is not on a short week...they played last Thurs.

I liked ASU when they were getting double digits 10.5, but now the line has become more manageable for the Ducks. I think they could handle the 7.5.

Oregon - 37                                        Arizona St - 27

Ducks -7.5                                    under 69

GL Amigos there's a lot of football left this weekend. Don't go blowing your whole bankroll on this one.

IMO Oregon has 2 great backs like Barner and Thomas that can wear out this tough Arizona St defense early. Oregon's offense always plays at a fast pace which can be hard for any defense as they try to sub players on defense. Once Arizona St tries to contain the run then Hawaii native QB Mariota should have his chances in the air.

Arizona St is pretty solid on both sides of the ball. QB Taylor Kelly is pretty efficient in his passes completing basically  68% of his passes. Seems like they finally established a run game against Colorado. Oregon's defense has forced 14 turnovers in the last 4 games so it will be interesting to see how efficient Kelly will be against them.

Should be interesting to see how this Arizona St offense does against this Oregon defense. If I'm not mistaken isn't one of Oregon's starting DT out for this game due to a DUI?

Don't fool with Oregon Vegas try to drop the number for people confuse  but Oregon try to stay undefeated to play the championship game.

Ducks have scored at least 41 points the last five meetings against ASU and the avg margin of victory in the last 5 is around 21 pts.............My play is in and i took ducks -7.5 and over 69 pts

oregon will win the game tonight....i watched zona st. struggle with colorado in first half... oregon by 16+....  line is -7.5 thats kinda crazy.. i think it should be 13 atleast.... zona st will struggle on special teams.....i  like  unc and duke over also..might tease for a few bills

If we are just going off of public perception, everything points to Oregon here. HOWEVER  I just cant see Vegas giving one away this easily.  They are practically begging for action on Oregon.  I think ASU shows up.  With serious reverse line movement despite the public pounding Oregon I will go with what I know..
ASU is a good team, Oregon D is a little shaky, and this has all the fixin's for a trap. Good luck guys.  Small wager on

Oh Ducks -8 and U69.Im thinking run game keeps the clock moving as much as possible short of the moving the chains on 1st down and hinders the blow out score.
