"Oregon (-8) over Arizona State" – Oregon comes into this game as one of the hottest teams in the country and everyone has started to emulate their style of play, even the New England Patriots have brought Chip Kelly in to learn his high octane offensive schemes.  Senior, Kenjon Barner for Oregon is one of the countries leading rushers averaging over 120 yards per game. This feat is even more impressive, as Oregon has two main backs, and his running mate, D Thomas, is blowing up the end zone. Also, Oregon boasts one of the nations best young quarterbacks, Marcus Mariota who holds a rating of 156.42.  The line for this game has been driven down by almost 2.5 points as “sharps” around the world think the number is off.  With this move there is significant value to be had here as Arizona State lost to a weak Missouri team which has been exposed for the frauds they are. Kelly may be a top rated QB, but in this game he showed he can't handle defensive pressure throwing two interceptions and passing only 178 yards in a less than impressive performance.  Oregon easily knocked off a solid Washington team that defeated USC.  Last week, Arizona State showed they were vulnerable by struggling against one of the sub-100 teams in the nation in Colorado.  I expect Oregon to come out fast and to stay on the gas until the final whistle blows.  Stats: Oregon has been putting up almost 50.2 points per game which is good for second best in the nation.  The defense of Arizona State is stingy allowing just 15.8 points per game but they have played no one of merit. This game reminds me of the match-up between Texas Tech and Oklahoma where Texas Tech had the best defense in the country but the  power from Oklahoma proved  too much for them to handle and the same should hold true tonight, as Arizona State’s number 3 ranked defense (gives up 3.7 yards per play) will have more than they can handle when this Formula One style offense blurs through. Also, Oregon just got beat out for the Second Seed in the standings, and will be looking to strike back in the BCS polls, running up the score.  Take Oregon (-9) or lower.
