Ok, Clemson is the hometeam. Beyond that I am at a loss for why I would bet Clemson in this game. That SC defense is the real deal folks. SC wins and it shouldn't be real close, well close becanuse SC's offense is just adequate. That only means there will be no major blowout. SC should dominate with their defense but struggle put them away. I like SC 20 Clemson 13

Why should SC be favored by 4? The recent history of the series, excluding the '03 blowout, shows it to be Clemson's in a relatively close game.
9 out of 11 and 15 out 20 fro CU.
-1 looks about right. Maybe generous to SC
Never bet with your heart, it's a losing proposition.
i dont bet with my heart kiddo... take clemson here and watch them lose with daaaaatttt boy.... they put up a whoping 13 against an "awesome" virginia defense... please tell me what they are going to do to south carolinas... screw history this is our year to beat our rivals convincingly... gl clemson backers you shall need it... if our offense scores for you that may be your only chance... we are good at that

South Carolina has safely qualified for a bowl. Clemson must win to play in a bowl, and the future of interim coach Dabo Swinney may ride on the result. A Tiger win could be a soothing balm to a a tough season, while a loss could send the program into more disarray.
Spurrier has lost two of three to the Tigers. The Gamecocks have lost 9 of their last 11 and 5 of their last 6 meetings with the Tigers.
Both defenses defend the pass well and the game could be decided by the ground attack. That advantage goes to Clemson and CJ Spiller. Spiller, who leads the ACC in all-purpose yardage (138.9 per game), has averaged an eye-popping 9.3 yards per carry in his career against South Carolina. Spiller’s speed has to be a concern for the Gamecocks, who allowed Florida’s Percy Harvin to run wild in a 56-6 loss to the Gators in their last game.
Interim coach Swinney has Clemson playing well since Bowden left. They've won 3 of their last 4 games, beating Boston College on the road, Duke, and Virginia on the road. Their loss came on the road to Florida St. Their last 2 wins over Duke and Virginia were by a combined score of 44-10. Not necessarily power houses, but they're beating the teams they should be.
Gamecocks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings.
REASONS TO DISLIKE CLEMSON AS THE PLAY:
South Carolina is coming off a bye week.
South Carolina will be looking for revenge as Clemson seems to consistently beat their in-state rival at the end of the season.
Tigers are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Tigers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. Tigers are 1-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

field is going to be a mess i like the under here with the good defence of south carolina and the slipper conditions look for both teams to load the box and try and stop the run. lets face it south carolinas offense is terrible and clemsons offense is nothing to write home about either. im going with the weather and under

Just wanted to come in here and sport my avatar. I hate Spurrier.
But, for the game, IMO:
I think the SEC will dominate tomorrow against the shaky ACC this year, but Clemson is coming on hot as of late(scary), winning 3 of last 4 ATS. I would love to see Spurrier lose, but I think he pulls one off this week with a little revenge against that Clemson-end-of-the-year rivalry(only winning 2 of last 10). Lean on under because of weather being bad in the southeast this weekend.
GL to ALL
MYy Prediction:
SC 20 CLEM 17

My system has Clemson favored by 10.5. I do think it will be closer than that but Clemson wins its final home game with a senior qb at the helm. I look for a 24-20 game. This game will probably come down to turnovers.
