Two defensive teams, don't know what the total is but probably taking under 1st half. G Tech usually start out slow and come back in the second half. 1st half Under and G tech 2nd half line.. GL all

I like Va Tech to win outright.  Don't think Ga Tech is good enough to stay with them and win...

Our starting C & MLB are out. Our 2nd starting Qb of the year, may or may not be out (no1 knows this just yet). Our best DE is dinged up. Then there is the possiblity of playing B.C. twice. (i.e. an F'n Eagle hangover) Check out my Sunday article for the goods on why Gah.Tech is the best 5-3 team in the land.  I took out 15 pts. on B.C. w/ EM in boxing. Gonna wait on the Total & on this line, as it has dropped just a touch already.

Sounds good here phancard. With VT's starting center out, it only exerbates their O-line woes against a 'very' good GT D-line. And just as they were starting to getting things worked out.
 
That is not to say that the Hokies won't come to play, because they surely will after that devastating loss to BC.     
 
They'll be out to prove something here, but it's not the best situational spot for them to be into. 
 
Win this one and they still have a good shot at the divisional and ACC conference championship..... lose it and who knows? 
 
If T-Mobile starts (Tyrod Taylor -- high ankle sprain, but has been practicing) and is healthy, Hokies have a much better chance here. But they might also be like a wounded, and cornered tiger, and not something anyone wants to mess with right now. It all depends on their mindset.      
 
Hard game to pick....just like the BC game, except the Hokie defense can handle GT's offense, injuries considered.... but then too, GT's defense might be able to handle the Hokie offense (what there is of it )

I love Ga Tech here. Home game, thursday night, national tv, against a conference opponent.
 
Both teams are pretty equal on the defensive side. On the other side, GT has the better offense. If both defenses come to play, I wouldn't trust VT's offense to put up points. They have issues in a few areas.
 
Neither team is much on passing, as they're both equally ugly. So it could come down to the running game, where GT is 14th in the country, averaging 100 yards more than VT!  The Jackets should have an easier time keeping the Hokies D on the field, rather than vice versa.
 
No way will I back that Hokies offense, especially a big game on the road. Hopefully more people jump on the Hokies for an even better line.

how do they know its influenza and if he tested positive does the team have their kids on tamiflu and getting shots.  that stuff is very contagious but it is really a bit early for the real influenza to be hitting.  lots of people call all nasty flu-like symptoms influenza without the confirmatory swap of the secretions by a lab.  sorry for the techno questions but bugs are bad for a team.

If TT doesnt play, I'm on the jackets...unless the osaka flu hits them.

Kinda liked VT at first glance but based on the info posted by bigeiii I think I will skip the side bet and place my money on the Under. To those of you who are new to this site bigeiii is a great source of info on all games but an expert in VT  games so always check his post.

Just to point out that GT's two MAIN offensive weapons (#22 Choice, and #3 Grant) are both out this weekend with injury. So, although they do have a great running offense -- both of their stud RB's are out this game.
 
When you combine VaTech's defense with an incomplete GaTech defense... I don't see Tech scoring many points. I'll stay away from the spread here, as I don't think VaTech will score many either. Under is definitely the only bet I'll be making here.
 
Score = 14-9... either way.

Good to know before I lock in. Under does look good if there will be flu bugs and injuries around.

I'm now adding my side buying 15 points. GT has it's starting G (who has 32 consecutive starts under his belt); likely out for this game. Their Qb only has 2 TD throws, on 51%! They are missing their top-2 Rb's for the season.

Still waiting to settle in a bit more on a true side, once I get the Qb news.

Got burned Mondy Night went with Denver   Tough Lost, Ref didn't help us with that Holding  call in the 4th quarter. Congrat to Greenbay backers.. What a way to start the week  0-2 .. good thing is that I still have lots of game to make it up.. About this game I am leaning on G tech at home

Looks like VT is the wager here.  Lost to BC is probably still on their minds.  I don't see a lapse in concentration for this game.  
 
GT pushing against Army...gimme a break, I have no faith in them.
 
Staying away from the total...looking at the under just because of their defense but looks like a game VT can easily control and go over.

Does anyone know who is going to start at QB for Va Tech?  If Tyrod Taylor starts, I'll take VT.  If Sean Glennon starts, I'll bet a fortune on GaTech.  Glennon sucks something fierce.

Both taking equal snaps in practice i hear. TT was dressed out last week for the BC game, just in case, but wasn't used. I have a feeling he'll start, but one bad hit on that ankle and......who knows?  Both VT QBs should play.  The more I think on this game, the more i'm leaning to VT though.

Guess I was asleep when I posted. I was going for teams 500 and above  so I counted Maryland fot GT,and I don't know who I missed for VT. Good thing someone is paying attention.
