Va Tech Money Line.....why, because it's Thursday, they're pissed and they have more to play for. Sometimes the public gets lucky, this is one of them. I've hit 7 out of my last 8 wagers since Sunday. Jump on board, even you Zen, you loud mouth POS.

Not for nothing but while Favre sports a 17-15 record on MNF he is 1-5 the last 6 MNF games...so saying betting against Favre on MNF = stupid isnt the truth. Now did i take Favre? Yeah, i didnt think he would keep losing but just making a point that Favre isnt exactly undefeated on MNF. Now i dont know the spread in those games but the last 3gms were on the road (as in the case vs Denver) and GB got beat by double digits in each.

 

Back ontopic...I like the Vtech Hokies tonight and I dont care about public play, what the public is deciding. Sometimes that can be overthinking and the public hits/is right. Taylor could be key in this game but I'm strongly leaning towards Vtech to cover my butt from last night in the NBA. Vtech record on Thurs isnt even of a concern....going with the best team and a team that has a sour taste in thier mouth from last week. Hall may be out but did you notice he was vs BC last week? I didnt. Better weather....usually play home dog on Thursdays but no home dog.

Terps, those numbers are tainted a little.  When GT got out to that early lead they played a more conservative style of defense where they give up some yards in exchange for time off the clock.  So you really can't take Glennon's pass total for what it looks like, or Ore's YPC.  In a closer game, as I expect tonight, GT's defense is going to bring lots and lots of pressure, whether it's Taylor or Glennon.  Taylor is young and will be forced into mistakes, and Glennon can't get out of his own way.  GT's defense is going to dominate this game. 
Offensively, Choice being out isn't a big deal to me.  Dwyer is a stud waiting in the wings.  He has 7 TD's, same a Choice, and he runs like the wind.  He reminds me of Clinton Portis at Miami.  If GT doesn't pull this game out, it won't be because of Dwyer.  Bennett has played decent lately, and his receivers are coming around.  None have even close to the skill of CJ, but Bennett does a nice job spreading it out. 
Lastly, if you are going to back VT, don't do it because you think they are going to revenge last weeks loss by coming out fired up.  That never works.  If you think VT is better than GT, fine.  But don't take it because you think what happened in the last 3 minutes of last weeks game is going to make them play harder.  Every team comes out fired up.  If you come out this week more intense than last week, all that means is that you didn't come prepared last week.  Your focus, your preparation, and your intensity should be at the same level before the kick off of every game.  Don't talk yourself into a bet you don't love because the team has something to play for.  It is a bogus reason.  Bet on talent, and I think GT has more of it.

No analysis for this game. There has already been enough and I can't think of anything that hasn't already been said or argued about. Going with Virginia Tech 1st half only, and then quietly exiting the room.

This game is notorious for low totals in the 37-43 range and
tends to go over...
 
Over is he best play here IMHO.

Sorry bro I'm staying away from this one. Posted some stuff earlier but with the injuries coming into play I'd rather place my investment on Friday's games.

the sarting RB for GT in tonights game is J dwyer and he is Avg 5.9 yds per carrey with 7 TDS   And they have A FR RB JAMAL EVANS thats pertey good. Im A GT fan and GT is A enimey of the spred; the games they should have no problem covering they dont And the games when they are big underdogs they cover or win;GT will drive you crazey;;good luck with this one;;;

WOW -- this is brand new territory.  And a day after Halloween no less!  Bizarre.  I was all set to do VT moneyline... now I'm not sure if it's a slam dunk or spooked.

It might just tee off the Hokie guys to play even harder.
 
A couple more stats here:
 
VT is 13-1 in AWAY ACC football games since joining the ACC.
 
VT is 13-2 on Thursday night ESPN games.
 
Both VT's losses have come at the hands of the #2 teams in the country, at the time, LSU and Boston College.
 
GT has lost to both UVA and Maryland, as well as BC.
 
VT's win was more decisive over Clemson, and their loss to BC wasn't as bad as GT's.
 
VT is ranked # 11 in the country and the BCS, while GT isn't ranked.  (I know, not a biggie in gambling) but when you put everything together......
 
Guess we'll see here pretty darn quick, whose bloomers are the cutest.   
and who hadn't changed them in a month or so. as well
