I can't find a friend request sending button

Can you please guide me as it seems I do not have it

After you send a Private Message to another user, at the bottom of that message container you will see the "Add Friend" button. This will send a friend request to that user and once the user accepts it you will find that user in your friends list in your private messages page. There are some issues right now with the friends list, but we are working on a solution.
