It's a brutal spot to be in. I can't decide if I should take Forte or Calvin Johnson. Leaning the former here. (McCoy will be gone for sure I already know).
A determining factor is that I definitely want a top 9 WR (CJ, DT, AJ, Dez, Marshall, JJ, Jordy, Brown, Jeffery) By the time it comes back around at 22 they might be gone. Then I either have to take top 3 QB early (amateur hour) or take a 3rd tier RB like Ellington, Martin, Stacy, Foster. And I'm right back on the clock at 27 so maybe take a 2nd tier WR (Cobb, Garcon, Allen). Or go RB again which would be 3 in a row. 3 spot is tough in this format and size league. Could take Calvin but Forte seems pretty safe as he doesn't get hurt and is their bell cow that catches the ball a lot. Anyone have any thoughts on a strategy on how to attack the first few rounds here? Thanks

See what I mean Dunk. I said the same thing in your other thread. We all want the same players. Some will pan out, most probably wont. But we all have that same list and we can only get our hands on the ones that are granted to us.
What my target is this year is stud RB, One of the magical 6 WR (Megatron, Dez, AJ, Demaryious, Marshall, Julio).
And I want the Gronk. (Jimmy is ideal, but the price is nosebleed high)
Realistically speaking, that's not going to happen. Maybe from the #1 spot and that's if you got your adversaries taking RBs and some of those WRs falling. Otherwise you got to target who is the best and safest out of that next tier and hope for the best.
I don't usually grab QBs early but the top guys on average ive seen get about 4 more points per game than the next group. That may be the difference of a win or two during the course of the year. so don't discount a guy like Aaron Rodgers.
In closing, I go Forte. The draft will dictate your next pick. Don't get married to RB-RB. Think balance and the edge. I got Gronk above guys like Jeffery and Brown. But that's just me. A schmuck with championships.
