That 12-man team looks alright. You will definitely need to play the waiver wire to fill in any possible gaps. A lot of unknowns on this team.
The 10-man team looks pretty damn good. Roddy and Amendola could be as good as any in PPR. That is a nice QB combo. We all hate Romo but he looks to be a fantasy darling. You got Jimmy Graham, but still got Roddy. I too would be pretty pleased with that. Should be smooth sailing.
Blackmon could be quite the darkhorse. The Jags probably need 4 weeks to sort out the QB situation anyway. I bet he comes back in a big way.
Andrew Luck is gonna blow up. They really seem to understand their receiving personnel and will make the most of it. They have the Maryland kid for the screen game. Reggie for the middle. They have Hilton for the deep ball. They have a handful of other serviceable receivers. They will put up a monster aerial attack.

Biz - that ppr team looks like you're taking home the title! Good luck this season! Question for you I am in a 10 man ppr league 4 points for passing tds. Would you start Stafford or RGIII this week? Always appreciate your insight.

Thanks again. The 10 team is my pride and joy. Its the one league I would really enjoy taking down. We all play poker every Tuesday so the bragging rights wouldn't go to waste. Since the draft I put Crabtree on IR. Used that spot to grab Vincent Brown. Someone immediately copy cat my strategy and went ahead and got Percy Harvin. Then I dropped Kendall Hunter and scooped Knowshon Moreno. I keep looking back to that stretch he had at the end of the season and am scratching my head as to why he's an after thought. I mean, just a few years ago he was draft able.
Marky, I am a huge fan of the running QB and would start RG3 on that notion. To me, he is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, football player who has ever put on cleats. He is something amazing. Well be talking about him like we do Bo Jackson. He'll have a short, yet amazing career.

Julius Thomas - Will be the Ogleetree of the 13' season. If he's not owned, he will be. He had a matchup advantage last night and part of a historic assault by Peyton. He did pass the eye ball test for sure. There will be some sacrifice on that offense. I think ultimately Decker may be lost in the shuffle. Thomas is the man to own. Welker looked like his usual PPR monster self. And now a slew of pass catchers Hillman, Caldwell, and Julius Thomas are around to move the chains. Im sold on Thomas.
Dallas Clark - No longer relevant. Maybe worth a bye week in filler. But I wouldn't invest too much. He looked slow, not the guy who made some plays back in his day running on that turf. He looks slow.
The Broncos running game - Do yourself a favor and just sell. I personally do not want anything to do with this. I own a speculative stock in Moreno, but again, this is a situation to avoid.

Well gentleman, he were are, on the eve of the start of another fantasy season. For those of us at the championship level, understand that the work is only beginning. If you just stay focused on your own players and lineups, you may miss out on quite a lot. There is not a single box score and scoring log that I will miss this season. Stay focused on how he game flowed and how many targets or carries a particular player caught. Check to see who is emerging or who may have just been blanketed by a top corner, and who is poised to break out. Study other managers rosters and see where trades can made. Maybe someone has a WR#4 that's good enough to be a WR#2 or a Flex for you. Don't be afraid to make offers, but do not let offers sit on GameDay (injury fear).
Were all starting to hear names like Cierre Wood or the backup in Jacksonville. The uncertainty of the NY Jets offense and how Norv Turner will magically make every Cleveland Brown worth owning. (Bullish on Frash Gordon, Bearish Jordan Cameron).

Thought I had a few more wins wrapped up but ended the week 2-3. Was a victim of Victor Cruz and Brandon Myers on Sunday night and in another loss the trio of Roddy, MJD, and Decker really fcuked me and killed some good performance. My 12 team league won and that's the league with the most $$$ at stake. Im in one free league in which I lost.
I think both the Eagles players are worth putting on your watch list and if you have room at the end of a roster, I would consider adding one. Not really sure who to prefer. Remember, they lost Maclin in the offseason.
Not much movement. I wanted to add Julian Edleman in my PPR leagues but dudes staked their waiver claims. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning to be the first to get the free agents but Edelman was scooped up already. Good news is im towards the top in nearle every league.
For speculation I added Marlon Brown, Rod Streater, and Daniel Thomas. I have thrown in the towel on Denard Robinson, Quinton Patton, among others. Dropped Zach Sudfeld for Martellus Bennett.
A friend of mine who is good at football pools and gambling in general, but jury is out on his fantasy knowledge, grabbed Leonard Hankerson and claims that he will become a more focal point of the Washington offense. Im not convinced by I checked the flag by the players name. Someone worth watching.

8 targets for Stephen Hill last night,9 targets in Week 1. 10 catches on 17 targets. His catch rate should improve as he builds chemistry more with the rookie. Georgia Tech has produced some monster WRs over the last few years. I am now very interested in adding this guy on my teams. Especially in PPR format.

I do think Stephen Hill and Hankerson are good prospects, especially in PPR.
Something will pan out between Andre Roberts and Micheal Floyd for the Cardinals.
The new TE for Detroit looks like he will be the guy. Fauria is the name I think. Shef and Petti are dinosaurs compared to him. Tight end is so deep though. We'll see.
I could see Brian Hartline continue to post decent numbers. I think Wallace is more a distractions than a real threat. He's not happy about it but the guy is not a good route runner and lacks versatility.
Im sure Joique Bell is gone now but I got him off waivers and am pretty happy about it.
I had to drop Micheal Bush but if you have the space and he is available, you should definitely add him.
bell and bush have huge upside with the starters high potential for injury.

Finally got a piece of Bernard. He was dropped in my 8 man PPR league and I had to pick him up.
Daniel Thomas is a name to keep an eye on. Frustrating player he is, but something is wrong with Lamar Miller. I avoided him in all leagues and I can now see why. One of these guys could go for 100 this weekend still.
WRs - Rueben Randle, Leonard Hankerson, Rod Streater, are all targets now, especially in PPR.

Robert Woods - First off, Buffalo is not holding the rookie back, they are throwing as evidenced by the 39 pass attempts. 6 targets and that translated to 4 catched and 68 yards. He also had a rush att. As the season progresses I think this guy will develop more chemistry with Manuel and will become a serviceable player.
James Starks - Came in for concusses Eddie Lacy into a game that was wrapped by by halftime. His job was to move the chains and he did that. Nice stat line but his ship has sailed. If you're desperate or you don't have to waste your waiver claim, go ahead and add him. but I warn you.
San Diego Chargers! 47 Pass Attempts. Seems like they will play a fast paced offense as well. They sure have the QB for it. There was quite the distribution on targets. but to me Antonio Gates is the one to own. Everyone else will be hit and miss for you. If you have Gates, you don't have to play tight end roulette. You play him regardless of matchup.
Marlon Brown - Should be picked up. With the losses of Boldin, Pitta, and Jacoby Jones, someone needs to step up. 4-45-1 TD. He could be another one of those obscure out of no where players.
Cleveland Browns - I don't like anything I see here. Im heavily invested in Trent Richardson and he seems stuck in the mud. Greg Little received 12 targets today but I don't want any of that. Josh Gordon is owned in 2 leagues and he's someone IM looking at to become perhaps a Mike Wallace type. A guy who will get you 3 catches for 80 yards and a TD. But this is a stay away situation. That includes Jordan Cameron.
If DeAndre Hopkins is available he is worthy of a waiver claim. Get him on your roster.

Ray Rice and Trent Richardson are suffering from being on some shitty teams. That sux that Rice, Lacey, and Jackson all went down.
I'd say Jordan Cameron looks like the only sure thing on the Browns. I'd still play him as a top 5 TE, maybe lower with all the TE performance going on.
Eddie Royal, Marlon Brown, Kendall Wright, and Santana Moss seem like they could fill in if you were in a pinch.
Golly, What a performance by the Seattle D. It looks like GB or Denver are the only teams that have a chance to beat Seattle at home.
Deandre Hopkins looks like he might have a bananas season. Maybe a consistent 100 yds and sometimes more.
Joique Bell about to pay off big too.
It would be nice to see Giovanni Bernard pad his stats a bit more, Nice to know they got him a TD though.
This is my other team .1/2 pt PPR. 1 RB 2 WR 2 Flex 1 TE
Dez Bryant Brandon Marshall Dwayne Bowe Doug Martin Keeper Giovanni Bernard Seattle D Michael Vick Jordan Cameron Jared Cook Baltimore Kicker- auto-draft error St Louis Defense Tannehill

Andre Ellington and Charles Clay may be worth keeping an eye on.
So far, that Miami team is living up to expectations. I'm curious how the Oregon rookie DE is doing in the pass rush with Cameron Wake. They haven't been tested too much yet though. They might be a good fade once they play a solid team.

Another Sunday wrapping up and on the eve of a beat down ensuing as the Broncos take on the Raiders. In one league (PPR) am down 15 with having Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno on deck while he holds Denver kicker. Should be close, would be 2-1 with the W. Have one each a 3-0 and an 0-3 team. 8-7 overall spanning 5 leagues.
Just "polished up a turd" as my good friend would say. On Friday night packaged Ryan Mathews and Willis McGahee for MJD. Built a nice stable on that squad.
Continue to be incorrect on Jordan Cameron. Inexperienced QBs tend to trust their TE, I should've seen it coming. His investors are reaping Jimmy Grahamesque rewards for a fraction of the price.
Josh Gordon has opened some eyes. I am desperately trying to sell high. Ive held on in 2 leagues and this is a time I package him and try to get me coveted assets that desperate teams may part with.
I see something special with this DeAndre Hopkins. He is for real. Was rather quite today but then continued to catch balls thrown his way.

Biz, got offered vincent Jackson and Trent Richardson for victor Cruz and gio Bernard. 12 team standard scoring, what are your thoughts on this deal. Thanks brotha!

I think u should make the deal. The wideouts are about equal although I'd give Cruz the edge. Then Trich is an upgrade over Gio. But this trade is very close go. I'm beginning to see more and more why this Bernard fellow is so special. He belongs in the NFL and has a knack for pay dirt. Go with your gut

In the Yahoo public league (No flex, 3WR), I have a void this week as Randall Cobb is on bye. I did not have a WR#4, kind of been hoarding secondary RBs. But I scooped up Stephen Hill and if he passes waivers tomorow morning I may go and grab Ryan Broyles. If there was ever a week he was going to emerge, this would be it. On the other hand, there is some problem with my RBs, Richardson, Lacy, Moreno, McGahee and Bolden. We start 2, going with Richardson and rolling the dice on L.Bell. Already sat Kaepernick and playing Romo. At 2-1, I need a Win here vs a weak opponent.
About Leveon Bell, in case you face a similar set of circumstances, in my poker friends league for example Ive been hit with an injury bug to Roddy White and Danny Amendola. Managed well with fill ins Eric Decker and DeAndre Hopkins in the meantime, but am thin at flex and RB#2. Starting RBs are Doug Martin and MJD. Backups include Daryl Richardson whom I bypassed this week, Moreno, or Bell. Only other option is Josh Gordon.
The way I view it is that Moreno cannot be counted on with an emerging time share in Denver. John Fox has been doing this since his Carolina days and with a historically good offense, there is no need to wear down any one particular player. Now, if the pass protection from the younger guys becomes an issue, then Moreno still has value. But right now in Week 4, Im not going to risk it. Next, one must consider Roddy White. Id like to be there and have him in my lineup during his coming out party. It would be maddening to see 8 catches 124 yards and a TD (PPR league) on the bench and his replacement has 7.1 fantasy points in total. Its almost like he is suiting up simply to continue his Iron Man streak. Thats cheesy to me and I also dont want to have him stuck on my lineup with his recent performance. No news over the coming days would get me to change my mind, he is not right.
So it may be time to start LeVeon Bell if you are in a jam and face a similar set of circumstances. Its a team that could really use his services. He would be just what the offense needs. All the so called experts are putting out conservative projections, but im seeing this game played out to the tune of 18-20 touches for this young man. Looks like he pegged to get about 7 points or so out of that. If he gets any better than a 3.9 YPC average, breaks a big run, scores a TD somehow, and even help out in the passing game, it should equate to something noteworty. A 14 point effort is what I set the goal to be. I like my chances with this kid, this week vs Minnesota.

Another trade today! Sending Reggie Bush, Stevie Johnson, and Ahmad Bradshaw for Larry Fitzgerald, Chris Johnson and a throw in Sidney Rice. This is a no flex, 12 team, QB RB RB WR WR TE D K old school league which am currently 3-0. Lineup looks like this;
QB - Cam Newton
RB - Arian Foster, Chris Johnson, MJD
WR - Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Williams, Justin Blackmon
TE - Antonio Gates
D - Patriots, Texans
K - Gostkowski
IM really loving this team, I have really good backups for each RB and WR. Championship or bust with that crew!

Going to be a rough 1-4 day on the fantasy circuit. One of them days that those losing teams would win against half the league, but such is life.
Continue to suffer for not going after Jordan Cameron, but overall have been pleased with my TE situation. Jimmy Graham and Antonio Gates in 4 leagues, and Gronk with fill in Martellus Bennett in the other.
Someone gave up on Daryl Richardson in a deep league. I saved my waiver spot for an occasion such as this. Unless DMC is out, id lean Jennings for you running back vultures.
Nobody really jumped out at me today. Marlon Brown is now a guy to definitely own and Ryan Broyles is just hype. Nobody else really seemed to blow up. Except for that LeVeon Bell kid. He will bring that offense some balance. Its a shame they lost their best lineman, they're in the midst of a lost season, but this is not a team that quits or makes excuses, they will play football.
Antonio Brown and Pierre Garcon have proven to be consistent performers. Surely guys I will target in future drafts as high end #2s.
This is now the start of the by season. When truely well built teams will weather the storm.

But I just want to point out Andrew Luck. Here was a 9th rounder, a good you select as either your QB or second QB. He's putting up some consistent numbers while playing good football. He has.nt put up any big games, but if you drafted well building your team and got him late. You now see the value of waiting to draft a QB even more.

CHange that 2-3 record on the day.

Was going to say how bad certain situations are to key fantasy players. I invested in MJD twice and have traded for him and god damn its been killer. All my teams are capable and should now get a boost from Leveon Bell.
This is perhaps the best time to scout the landscape and pouch studs from impatient owners.
