This year I am in my biggest league yet. It's a 16 team league played amongst friends that know are each other and are really competative and knowledgable. We won't know draft order til 2 hours prior to draft.
I have strategies worked out for various spots where I may draft. What I'm looking for are those late round sleepers that may make all the difference. Thanks for suggestion.

Emmanuel Sanders in Pittsburgh is going way too late in drafts. He'll start the year as the 3rd WR but the last few games of 2010 he was pretty much the #2 WR in that offense behind Mike Wallace. Much love to Hines Ward but the possession receiver is major on the decline.
Jacoby Ford in Oakland another underrated WR. The Raiders have said they want to get the ball in the 2nd year receiver's hands as much as possible. Major home run hitter. Bump him up your rankings even more if you're in a return yards league.
Watch for Delome Carter the rookie RB in Indy. To the surpirse of many the Colts wound up bringing Addai back today ut he's an injury waiting to happen. The team doesn't trust Donald Brown in blocking situations so Carter could immediately find himself getting some carries.

I'm not sure Maclin qualifies as a sleeper since he is averaging as a 3rd round choice in yahoo mock drafts in 14 team leagues. Thanks for Decker and I do like Nelson as later choice.

Danario Alexander has been working as the #1 WR in St. Louis and is a guy worth targeting late. He has some serious ability but dating back to college has had numerous knee issues. I really like Bradford and think one his WRs has a big year. If he stays healthy then Alexander is probably that guy.
Cecil Shorts (Jags rookie) is someone to watch in really deep leagues. Not sure he'll be draftable but could make a nice mid season addition. He seems to have a good raporte already with Blaine Gabbert who I expect to take over at some point this year. Garrard is on a super short leash and the organization has pretty much said that they'll turn to Gabbert first chance they get.

Keep a eye on Jennings also from Jax, I know MJD is starter there, but with his knee issues he could easily be hurt. If you can snag Jennings late and afford to keep on your bench he may be worth it

For sure. Good one sgarhs1. MJD has even come out and said Jennings will get some of his carries. Of course Del Rio denies it but he's not going to come out and say they're worried about MJD's durability. And I've heard rumors that his offseason procedure was micro facture surgery. If true that's huge and crushes his value. Regardless, I'm a little tenative of MJD in drafts.

Jerad Cook (Tenn): He's another of these oversize WRs playing TE. Read he's been splitting out wide in camp which could be huge for his fantasy upside. The addition of Matt Hasselbeck isn't anything amazing but it's much better than what Jake Locker can bring right now.
Ed Dickson (Balt): With Heap gone I think he starts but fellow 2nd year TE Dennis Pitta will get time as well. Someone besides Ray Rice has to catch the ball and Anquan Boldin & Malcom Floyd(assuming Ravens sign him) are only average.
A couple TEs to avoid are Tony Gonzalez and Mercedes Lewis. Age has finally caught up to Gonzalez. He can't stretch the field and Julio Jones should take balls from him. Lewis put up fluky TD numbers last year and he just screams 1 year wonder.

i like that rookie in oakland Tawain Jones, he is from eastern washington. He is what u would call a super sleeper though. Maybe next year he could be a sleeper.
Montario Hardesty, if healthy, could be a nice sleeper. If he makes it through pre-season up to draft day, take a flyer on him.
James Jones from Green Bay isnt really a sleeper, but would pick him up late if available. Rodgers loves the kid.
Laurent Robinson was god awful last year for the Rams, but he has always showed potential when healthy. He cant stay healthy though. Brandon Gibson from the Rams as well. I bet you one of those two are productive this year.
I can go on all day I will think of some more and be back

go to cbssportsline.com and look at the individual teams, they have depth charts and you can really take a good look and do some research on the lower end players.

Somebody has to be the #2 WR in San Diego since it's obvious Malcolm Floyd won't be back. I'd say there's a great chance Robinson begins the year in that role but like you said, he can't stay healthy.

While AJ Green and Julio Jones are the rookies getting all the attention, Greg Little in Cleveland could easily be this years best rookie receiver. He was suspended last year and didn't play a single game at UNC, but he's already working with the 1st team in Cleveland thanks to Massaquoi's injury. And I do think we'll see improvement from Colt McCoy.
Other rookie WRs to keep an eye on are: Torrey Smith (Balt): Neither Boldin or Floyd awe anyone. Titus Young (Det): Likely to start the year as the #3WR and playing in the slot. Will definitely have value in return yard leagues.

Of course he's a burner (4.33) or else the Raiders never would've drafted him. Your 40 time is all that matters to their scouting department. His absolute NFL ceiling is that of a passing down specialist and return man. I've heard he can't hang onto the ball though. Imagine that, a Raiders pick that's really fast and can't hang onto the ball. We haven't (cough cough Heyward Bey cough cough) seen this anytime recently from Oakland.

Nevermind. To the suprise of many Malcom Floyd resigned with San Diego today. He probably would've been a bigger part of the offense in Baltimore than he will be for the Chargers. I have him #38 on my WR list. He's probably a low end WR3 at best.

Don't think anyone's mentioned Andre Roberts in Arizona. He'll probably beat out the injury prone Early Doucet and Kevin Kolb is certailny an upgrade over the Cardinals previous QB situation.
Seems like there's new WR names that appear every day in camps. Here's a few more to keep an eye on. -Antonio Brown: working as #2WR right now in Pitt w/ Ward & Sanders hurt; could open season as #3WR -Riley Cooper: likely the starter if Maclin's mystery illness continues into regular season -Jeremy Kerley: doesn't look like Jets get Mason and Cotchery's gone. Likely the #3WR. -Denarius Moore: someone has to start opposite Jacoby Ford in Oakland.

I had mentioned Torrey Smith and now it's time to add him to your draft boards. With Mason winding up a Jet, Smith will begin the year as the Ravens #2 WR.

Cards coaching staff seems to like Doucet, i think he starts the season as the #2 I'll disagree here. Sounds like the staff likes Roberts better
Agree on Helu, although he needs to improve blitz pickup, Torain is an injury waiting to happen Just read where a Redskins beat writer says Helu needs "lots of work"
A few others... austin collie(kind of) , jerome simpson, robert meachem, jason snelling, ryan williams(ari), kevin boss, and longshot(javon ringer) With you on Meachem & Williams. May take a late shot on Snelling as well.

I'm reading now that the Cardinals are looking into trading for Bills WR Lee Evans, who I think is finished. Regardless though, he would kill the sleeper value of Roberts & Doucet.

I guess hold off on Torrey Smith for now. He was awful in his first preseason game against the Eagles. Looked confused and had no idea what routes he was running. Fellow Ravens rookie Tandon Doss wasn't much better. This is not good news for Joe Flacco's fantasy value.
