Then pump metabolism 3 times a day.... can be quick as long as you spike the heart rate.
And noooo......... I"ve never been on a freaking eclipse for 45 minutes in my life. That is gayer than hell........ When had to lose the 15, I just spiked my heart rate with something quick.

You cannot spot reduce, e.g. doing crunches won't specifically burn belly fat. You gather fat all over your body over time & you'll lose it from all over your body over time. Of course the place that has the most will be the last to retain it.........belly for men, ass/thighs for chicks.
Just keep grinding.........as ricky says, outwork the other guy.......outwork yourself.........it'll happen.

Squezzing your abs is really just that, keep them tight as best u can when lifting weights or running on a treadmill. Just me minful of them and pretty soon your brain will go into auto mode and you will not have to remember to keep them contracting sporadically. 1st week or two is difficult to learn but then it becomes natural.
NJ, I wasn't laughing at a walking routine, fact walking is just as valuable as running - even better. Runner bodies look and feel broken down.
Walking and being mindful of stomach contractions during your walk is invaluable. Just my humble .02 - been doing this for a long long time and have been taught by some of the best pro BB's since Sandy Ridell.
Train that low back once a week at least @ high intensity. Do it right and you'll have a valley down the backside.
Search, difficult as hell to contract stomach while lifting/running. Still trying to get the hang of it. I WILL master this.
Just need it to be a little more clearer. i've been sucking in my stomach and contracting it while it's sucked in <-- is this what you mean? or do you just constract it without sucking in the gut? does it make any difference between the two?

Is "blasting" pullups/pushups every two week enough?
Actually I think it is plenty. When blasting, I mean shitloads to shock. And then barely do any resistance for weeks.

So have to give him a hard look.
3ball...... EVERYBODY works out but the diet is the challenge. It's time consuming, and not geared for people not up on food.
And really have to be able to cook if want to get serious.
Yes Diet is much more challenging than working out. Anybody can work out & work out hard but diet is key for those work outs to manifest into your body (muscle gains/shred/cut up etc.)

When I dropped the 15........ was constantly craving ice cream.
when i was dropping i just craved carbs. Any form of carbs. Once i dropped the weight boy did i go a little nuts on carbs. But i was so fit by then it didn't really show on my body.

My knowledge on food is improving every year. I just try to eat healthy for a healthy lifestyle but now i try to gain more knowledge on foods that help my muscles grow etc. Research is the fun part but it's the preparing and cooking that's tough w/ a busy lifestyle, family and 2 kids. Something i am learning to balance. i'll get there.

without reading through every reply in this thread there is no 'ab workout' that's going to help you shed fat from your midsection.
A appropriate diet and cardio (along with a good weights straining program) is what will do it ...
For me, simply manipulating carb intake has been a key as far as diet is concerned - and has helped me get my bf levels down under 10% on a few occasions ..
You can work on slowly reducing the amount of rice, bread, potatoes etc that you consume and instead consume more green leafy vegetables & salad with your lean protein servings.
That's the key to effective cardio as well - doing it when your carbohydrate stores are low ... that way your body will be forced to tap into its fat stores for energy - ie burn fat. So fasted cardio first thing in the morning is very effective, as is doing it straight AFTER your weights training
