1 ounce of refried beans from El Pollo Loco.............. 700 milligrams
1 ounce?.... who only eats 1 ounce of refried beans?
Browned Hamburger Meat 15% fat....... only around 20 milligrams per ounce.
WTF are these fast food restaurants doing to the burgers man?
Really... how do you go from 80 milligrams to over 1000?

I'll Dare anybody here to come under 2,400 milligrams of sodium a day for a week.
Actually be shocked if anybody could do it for two days in a row.
Can eat all the steak you want but can't drive through anywhere for a snack.

Here is an article just stumbled on........ fairly interesting
That article says we have a 100 grams of sodium in our bodies on average.
Another interesting thing it says is that 5 grams of "salt" only equals 2 grams of "sodium" so don't have to freak at the salt shaker.
My question would be...... if add an extra 2 grams of sodium and the body has 102 grams instead of 100...... Can't imagine that being too big a deal.
In terms of the increase in blood pressure. My next question would be simple math and hydraulics. Assuming an average of 10 pints of blood in the body. Can't imagine the aborption impact of 2 grams of salt to be that big of a factor?

It appears that it is univerally accepted that the ratio of potassium to sodium is important.
It's actually not real easy to get high quantities of potassium in the diet tho. Bananas are not enough. One banana is only 10% of RDA potassium and if in the summer need lots more.

Screw the RDA...... I just ate half an ounce of green olives and some sharp NY Cheddar.
I think the RDA's are all screwed up anyway. That whole fat and carb thing couldn't have been anymore assbackwards.

You guys havn't lived until spread on some cheap sliced green olives on your sandwiches. An olive spread would be better but if don't have that around, just some cheap sliced green olives work.
Like they do in New Orleans with the muffallettas.
Olive go in everything !!!

I think I found your study.....
It's long and only read the first page........ been saying this for years...... just cuz you eat it doesn't get it into your bloodstream. Very few things actually get into the bloodstream other than alcohol.

Table salt is the least concern..... at least you can see and measure it..... and it directly affects the tongue so is the most efficient.

If you slam your digestive system and organs with anything...... good shit won't happen.
That's why need a "balanced" diet.
Yo Sleazy!!!!....... your zero carb thing may burn fat but I guarantee it's not good for you.
The body wasn't designed to lose or gain weight that quickly anyway.
