The kitchen guys are just mano a mano straight up ........... and so are the customers........ and the owners........ but watch out for the Managers.

They get pissy.

The Managers are unbereable.

I only had one good one....... he taught me how to carry 5 (5) FIVE plates......... so I will give him credit........ but he was still a dickhead.

The Managers never went went to college and get off on fucking with people.

That is why you gotta tell them Part Time means like less than 55 fucking hours.

Serving is a killer "part time" gig but whatever you do....... don't get sucked into it...........

Cuz you will be a Manager or something.

By way........ Servers make more coin than Managers by way.

The kitchen guys are mostly HARDWORKING mexican guys...but they are awesome and more than likely illegal, we got a couple black guys on the grill too. 

Yeah just 3 plates for me at a time haha, I dare not try 5. 

Believe it or not my managers are actually really good ppl with decent managerial skills.

Our general manager is pretty cool but gets pissy when she has to expo food on a friday or saturday night.

Its funny you mention this "getting sucked into" thing.....I have had so many people in the restaurant business tell me that they got sucked in to it because of the money

Every other single occupation out there is better than Restarant "Manager"............... Server is one thing and a KILLER gig but the "Manager" part of that is no can do.

Na man I was at Texas State in San Marcos. But I just moved to NC to finish my last 2 classes (currently living with my parents rent free and bill free bc my lease ran up in Texas and didn't want to resign for a full year). SO taking my last 2 classes and working about 24 hours a week. Not a bad gig.

Don't worry, like I said, I am seriously looking to teach English in Korea in August for a year.

However, I did grow up in northwest Houston, about 15 miles from UH

Houston was pretty bank man....good dining, good sporting options, nice downtown area (in my opinion) really like midtown/rice village. I am from Cypress (Northwest Houston). Very diverse city. 

What did you think of it?
