"ACH" stands for Automated Clearing House, a secure payment transfer system that connects all U.S. financial institutions. It is the central network where electronic payments are sent to make sure they clear before that money is deposited in another account.
An example of an ACH withdrawal is when an online bill pay system asks you for a routing and checking account number instead of a physical check. When that transaction appears in your bank statement, it will read "ACH withdrawal to (company bill was for)."

Im not so worried as much about not getting paid -maybe it's b/c its only a few hundreds -but it is the fact that they have to tell everyone different stories and telling us to wait "until this" and "until that" without telling us anything at all at first. It'd be easier if they had told us what was going on and give us a more stable timeframe.
