4 seasons you are the most whining baby I've ever came across in my 42 yrs of life...... Bodog bashing is your life, hundreds of posts....we get it!!!! all over a stupid ass horse bet. If dogs lines were such a ripoff why did you bother to join in the first place??? I believe a professional would tell you to get over it and move on with your life.

I had a terrible experience with Bodog. I put $200 in to the poker room and turned it in to $5000 + in 2 days. They closed my account and accused me of being in collusion with others who they said were dumping chips. I, in NO way, was associated with any scheme to defraud but they took ALL of my winnings and refunded my initial deposit and closed my account.  I will admit that the few people who I was winning against were playing rather crazy but I wasn't involved and they penalized me for it. I'm sure they wouldn't have refunded my initial deposit if they suspected me but rather closed my account as a slight implication in my involvement in order to take my $4800+ in winnings. Please stay away from BoDog!

Another member, this one with all of 6 posts to his/her credit, attacking me personally and defending a cut throat multi-million dollar gaming operation.  Another obvious paid shill.

Glad you "get it" however, someone who is here for the first time, how will they "get it"?  My "whining" as you call it, is my stating facts, when say bodog becky blatantly lies.  If someone is blatantly lying to this forum, why are you against the record getting set straight?  Why?

You're basically saying let bodog blatantly lie to the public.  You fail to mention that you have an issue with that.  That in your book, that is ok.  On the other hand, I who have personal experience to share, and I who have concrete verifiable proof of the lies and deception, takes the time to set the record straight.  And then, you go out of your way to take the time to do one of your extremely rare posts, to attack me.

How much did bodog pay you to go after me?  Or, what is it about bodog, that you adore so much, that you (who basically never posts anything out of all the infinite amount of topics to discuss), makes you feel worthy to attack me, and vehemently defend the cut throat multi-million dollar gaming operation?  Call me whatever you want, but what you did, that's abnormal to say the least

For as long as bodog blatantly lies and deceives, bodog will continue to eat the crow that it so richly deserves.  That way, if a new member is here for the first time, deciding on which sportsbook to use, the new member will have all the facts to make a wise decision.  One that is obvious, which is don't use bodog, the worst online sportsbook known.

You say it's all over a stupid horse bet?  Fact is on that one, bodog didn't deviously and erroneously cancel a winning horse bet.  They did it several times on several wagers.  That's a fact!

If you've been following me that closely, you know it's a whole lot more than that, don't you?  You know it's about their site, without any notice going down/offline, for hours during primetime.  You know it's about the blatant lies by their staff.  Surely you know that it has to also do with ...

not better, bodog is abundandtly, noticeably & indisputably much worse.  There's 3 concrete examples above provided.  I asked, what exactly was so much better about bodog now, verse prior to Ayre selling?  Maybe there's something I'm ignorant to knowing,  No, there's nothing.  At least, that was the reply, I mean there was no reply, as always.

Appears part of my last response got truncated.  The part where I say though bodog totally fails to answer and evades simple, direct questions, I always answer the ones I see.  To answer yours of why I joined in the first place, at the time I was new to online gaming, and frankly I just didn't know any better.  Even when I did know better, I stayed as a longtime loyal bodog customer, because back then they had the fastest payouts, superior customer service, and the best deposit bonus.

Before the new gaming laws, bodog had deposit/withdraw to/from your bank account.  That was so easy, fast and free.  Those days are long gone now.  Free Western Union payouts, and same day Western Union payouts are available elsewhere, NOT at bodog.

The service from the bodog staff back then was outstanding.  I often wrote positively about bodog's service, when the service I received was positive.  Those days too, are long gone now.  Their service now or when I last used them, is absolutely by far the worst most pathetic that I've experieced anywhere.

And when I first joined, bodog had the best deposit bonus.  It was 20% with a 1X rollover.  It then went to 10%, and then the rollover went up to 3X.  Then and now, bodog offers ZERO reload bonuses, and NO comp for your sportsbook play.  NOTHING!

Those vertical dots in my last reply, listed some of the concrete facts once again, of the vast enormous inferiorities of the bodog sportsbook.  Not sure where the words went, however, they're easy to find elsewhere in my posts in this thread.

The start of the last paragraph also has vanished.  I had wrote that the last alleged paid shill to attack me, stated that since Ayre sold bodog, bodog is run much better.  Then, I pointed to the 3 facts just stated of how bodog is much worse now.

Asked for specifics of what's better now.  Bodog use to even offer an NHL puck line back in the day.  Like an NHL puck line on bodog today, is like an answer to a simple, direct question, just no where to be found.

Life does go on, and I have moved on to much better, nicer, places to wager.  I assure you that is the case.  Though the second a blatant lie is posted on behalf of bodog, or really anything else that I catch, expect a rebuttal.  Keep it real.

Year after year, from various and multiple sources from around the globe, members have shared how bodog has failed to pay them, and/or closed their accounts for winning.

Don't do it for me.  Don't do it to spite them.  Do it for yourselves.  If you use bodog, you win less, you lose more, you get cheated, you get lied to, you get less wagering options (I mean it's so much less it's ridiculous), you get less payout options, you get no comp for your sportsbook play, and in the long run, you're not allowed to win and keep their money.  If you win too much, sorry Charlie, see you, don't come back, and if you don't like it, what are you going to do about it?

At least Jelax posted his/her nightmare, which is appreciated.

Use bodog at your own peril.

Becky - My account number is 3019042. This is my newest account number that was disabled but you can find the trail of issues from that account. The incident where Bodog STOLE $4000 + of my money came from 2007 when I requested a withdrawl and they asked me to send in security documents. I had recently lost my wallet and was told that I could send in alternate documents which I was more than happy to do and then they closed my account and took ALL winnings and refunded my deposit. I spoke with them this morning and they said to call back at 12est b/c the dept I needed wasnt available. I called back and they told me this department doesn't take calls, contrary to what I was told this AM. I spoke at length with someone in financial services who said once an account is cancelled all winnings are "cancelled". I asked where the money went and she said she doesn't know. I asked why I couldn't have all my winnings if I sent in ANY and ALL documents requested and she said no. Again, I pressed where the $4,000 went and she just said, " it was cancelled". I explained that putting a freeze on my account or not allowing withdrawls until I got the requested documents would be acceptable but outright stealing $4000 and closing my account permanently is outrageous. Hopefully you can shed some light on this situation. If I am a security risk then why not pay me my winnings and close my account? Why couldn't they call ANY player a security risk that wins money then refund intial deposit and STEAL their winnings?

I have to admit when accounts start getting cancelled, etc. I worry.  But since I have never had  4K in my account more like 400 I am probably safe.  I cashed out at BoDog Sunday night and FedEx at my door Wednesday.  I guess I am the public bettor they love, don't bitch about high % juice, and all the other complaints filed.

I thought bodog Becky was a farce but I did expect at least a half a$$ed effort to address my issue even it was some BS. Didn't respond in public nor via PM. Again I reiterate PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM BODOG. They are THIEVES!

Jelax, I have responded to your PM, and I have asked the decision maker at Bodog.com to please look into this and he has confirmed receipt of my message.  If you could please be patient, I will get some answers for you ASAP.

I apologize if my responses are not instantaneous- a presence on the forums is only a small piece of my job under Calvin Ayre- in addition to being the Global Brand Ambassador for BodogBrand.com, I am also the head on-site reporter for CalvinAyre.com and I am very busy.

Thanks for your patience,
Becky

Jelax, I have responded to your PM, and I have asked the decision maker at Bodog.com to please look into this and he has confirmed receipt of my message.  If you could please be patient, I will get some answers for you ASAP.

I apologize if my responses are not instantaneous- a presence on the forums is only a small piece of my job under Calvin Ayre- in addition to being the Global Brand Ambassador for BodogBrand.com, I am also the head on-site reporter for CalvinAyre.com and I am very busy.

Thanks for your patience,
Becky

While I did not receive any PM from you I will be as patient as possible. Maybe you could resend it. I would have been very comfortable with the update you provided in public as a PM. I truly hope they are able to assist in this matter as I have never gotten any answer from Bodog as to why they stole my money other than they didn't receive requested documents in a timely fashion. I am still the same person I was in 07 and am willing to get ANY documents requested to prove it. Question of the year. What did Bodog do with the $4,000+ they "cancelled" or "stole" from my account? Thanks for assisting Becky. If you'd prefer to keep everything in the public forum that's ok with me too.

Also, fwiw, I initially deposited $1000 not $200. Doubt it makes a difference as my deposit was refunded and the $4,000 + was what Bodog just took from my account.

This is bizarre...I just tried re-sending the PM and I'm getting this message, even though I have already added you as a Covers friend:

If one is in collusion with another (cheating) in an online poker game, and the site isn't paying the winnings to the player they allege to be cheating, then those winnings are to be redistributed to the players who got cheated.

The site is only entitled to a rake percentage of the action, in exchange for the service rendered..  Everything else belongs to the players.  If a site imposes a forfeiture of winnigs due to collusion, the winnings forfeited do not belong to the site.  Again, those forfeited winnings would be redistributed to the players who got cheated.  And, a report is filed to the gaming commission.

If I were Jelax, I would ask bodog for a copy of the report that was filed to the gaming commission, and for documentation that the forfeitures were in fact redistributed to the players who got cheated.  That documentation should include the usernames of the players who got cheated, along wiht the date and the amount they each recieved via the forfeitures.

If bodog refuses to oblige, you should contact the gaming commission yourself, and file report against bodog.

If bodog was on the up and up, they should confirm for you that at least a report was in fact filed with the gaming commission, and if so, how you who were involved with the incident can obtain a copy of the report.

If bodog did what you said they did, and they did not file a report to the gaming commission, then bodog is out of compliance.

Depending on who you speak with at bodog, one will tell you they keep the money, while another will say the money forfeited goes to the gaming commission along with the report.  And then finally, someone in their security department will affirm that the forfeited funds are redistributed to the players who got cheated.  Here's just another example of where bodog's customer service is extremely weak.  Why can't their staff provide the same answer to the same exact, general question about the rule or their policy?

Using bodog inevitably is perilous.

Thank you very much for this insight. I will see if Becky is able to find out any answers and will follow up again with Bodog myself. One of the main problems is they are VERY reluctant to give me ANY details with regards to my issue. I haven't been able to even get security on the phone. Everytime I feel like I was getting a straight up answer, I hear someone whisper something in the background and subsequently the rep says, "my direct supervisor says we can not share this information".  I've tried to be as cordial as can I to address this but they continue to act as though I'm a nuisance.

I'm not sure what happened but I've added you as a friend again. You should be able to PM from here on out. If it doesn't work I'm completely open to discussing this issue in the public forum as I seem to receive your messages there.

Got your friend request- thanks!  Ok, I have personally spoken with a senior CS manager at Bodog.com and due to their rules about information protection and the personal nature of the information needed to explain this issue, and because identity can not always be confirmed on posting sites, it is best if you talk to Bodog CS directly.  Can you please PM me with a recommended contact time and number?

Thanks so much,

I will be contacting security tomorrow. Customer Service and Financial service both said they cannot disclose anything. If I send you my information would I be contacted by anyone with more clout than the security personnel? They've basically written me off and decided to keep the money they stole but I am still curious as to what the specific explanation your sportsbook gives for stealing $4,000+ from an account. I've thoroughly read your policies about how you're able to void funds for a million different reasons and I assure you I've never violated ANy of those conditions. I figured you wouldn't be able to help and it was merely PR for your company but appreciate the effort. As previously stated, " PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM BODOG". I will make it my mission to voice this on every message board I can find. Another question no one at Bodog is willing to answer is where the $4,000+ went.

BOYCOTT bodog!

They also stiff by STEALING money from players accounts who they say break rules. They will refund initial deposit and STEAL all winnings with no explanation. I know b/c it happened to me and I did NOTHING wrong. The worst part is they won't give me an explanation. Very odd.

Just so you know. I've contacted 6 times in the last 3 days to speak with security(supposedly the only department that can "maybe" explain where my $4,000 went).

1 time they said security doesn't take calls.

4 times they've transferred me to financial services who acted as a gatekeeper and told me the information I already knew and then told me security was busy but that I should continue trying to call back later.

The last time I called they again said call back in an hour b/c they are on calls. My response, " I can hold all day as I do not want to call back again and I can't imagine their calls take an hour". Of course this made too much sense so now they said Security will call me back ASAP. This is odd b/c on my 4th call I asked if they could provide my number to security to call at their convenience and they said security doesn't make outgoing calls.

BodogBecky - How do you defend this piss poor customer service? If it's a privacey matter and you are truly able to speak to decision makers why don't you and I conference call your decision maker.  Please provide your business number so we can call and we can really see if your company is who you portray them to be and not the THIEVES who stole $4,000+ of my money without ANY explanation.

Please PM me your contact number and the best time to call- I will have a senior manager call you at that time- they will explain everything.

Thank you,

Thank you,
Becky

I actually was able to get through to security on my 7th attempt as I was a bit less patient with the gatekeeping reps. They explained that I colluded in a chip dump scheme. 100% false.I in NO WAY was involved or have ANY idea what they are talking about but what can I do when they say they have evidence(that they can't share with me). The worst part about this is I NEVER played heads up at Bodog and won money from many different players they still took ALL my winnings.  If they found one player who was "dumping" chips and explained that to me and provided enough details while protecting certain private information and took those winning I probably would've been ok with that. But they took everything. They also said I didn't send in my identification documents in a timely fashion. 100% false as they closed my account less than 3 days time from when they asked for documents and they only asked b/c I requested a withdrawl for the $4,000+ they stole. Common sense told me that they would delay the withdrawl until I sent them in which makes sense but they added that to my file and decided that I'm a risk. When inquiring about where the money went she explained that it "dissolved". So I've been told that $4,000 was "dissolved", "cancelled", "voided" which are all odd ways of describing what actually happened to the money. I also inquired about reports filed for when money is confiscated from players they believe to be involved in fraud and was told I can't have a copy of the report and really gave me a sense that NOTHING was ever filed and that the money "dissolved" right in to Bodog's account.

Bodog Becky - you are very friendly in these public forums and I appreciate that but your company is nothing but THIEVES!

Please stay away from Bodog.
