I owe a bookie 5k, any suggestions what to do?

so short story i started using this bookie and i lost 900 the first week and paid up, this week i started taking bets for ohter ppl and used my limit and the people lost and left town. and now im stuck with a 5k debt, and i dont mind paying but should i ask for pay in payments

Hmmmm. You think your bookie will buy that story. Also I take it your friends have no family or jobs and you took their action.

Tell the bookie you'll give him 2,500 on Tuesday as long as you can play through the week. You're on your own after that.

I can't believe bookies still exist nowadays. They have absolutely no recourse if the client cannot pay and walks. Visit you at your home? One warning until I squeeze the trigger.

depends 
a. how tough is your bookie if u dont pay him is he going to come after you
b. is 5k alot of money to you if u can pay without much trouble pay

i once was in college in deep with a bookie for 7k  i let it all ride on the monday night game for 14700 dollars total if  i lost  i bet on under in eagles 49ers game was like 36pts. in the first half 33 pts were scored i was scared to death but in the 2nd half 0 pts were scored and i won. greatest night ever but to be honest bookies are a bad idea stick with offshore books that way u can never lose more than you have. i never bet with bookies anymore takes away the temptation of betting what  you don't have.

Dude don't worry you have many options!

1. Suck his garbage, and garbage his baseballs.
2. Buy a gun at Walmart, and show the mothergarbage what time it is.
3. Change your number. That mothergarbage won't be able to find you without the proper contact information.

Be honest w/ him.  Give him what you have and work out a payment plan.

All he wants is his money.  He'll probably charge you interest but that's what you get for betting money you don't have.

Tell him you were going to make up a story about how your friends bet on your account and lost and disappeared and now you've decided to come clean and tell the truth, and then ask for an extra week to pay the full 5k.

First off, you are obligated to pay off your debt. Make an agreement if you can with your bookie.

2nd, stop gambling immediately bcause gambling is not for you.

I would suggest stopping for a couple of months. Pay him 75% of what you owe( as long as you make an agreement).
