I've never heard of 5dimes sending you a debit card as a payout method. I was assuming he meant the Debit Card Funds Application method. Which is only available to people with a debit card attached to a bank account.
Yes, that is correct. 5Dimes will send money directly to your account via your debit card info. There are other books that use a 3rd party debit card that they send you but this is not allowed at 5Dimes.

moneymaker. by third party, you mean a debit card the book sends you to use exclusively at atms..not attached to my bank..hoping this is the case...if so, i'll use this method..also looking into bitcoins, but for the time being, i think i'm more comfortable with the debit they send out

ALWAYS get a new address when sending or receiving.
It is very easy to do, and it protects your anonymity. This one I will let you google - because it applies to all bitcoin transactions (not just gambling related).

arkydude, how long did it take to get to your bank account
All 3 times it's hit my account on the morning of the 3rd business day. If you're considering it, i'd go ahead and open a Circle account ahead of time, because it also takes a few days to verify the bank account. That's obviously only done once of course.

Dont you have to have had deposited with Bitcoin in order to use them as a withdrawal method.
DCFA and Checks have worked just fine for me with 5D. Just curious if you need to have deposited with BitCoin in order to withdrawal with it.
At 5dimes, people that have not deposited via bitcoin can still request a payout via that method, but it can only be once a week for a maximum amount of 1k.

Depending on how you handle taxes, Bitcoin may be an advantage. Let's say it makes taxes more... consentual. I earned alot of Bitcoin through mining & I have done plenty of action through Nitrogen, which is a bitcoin only book, and it was great. Transactions are near immediate. I also believe Bitcoin will continue to raise in price (I had the pleasure of selling some over $800/coin, before the crash). You can sell your bitcoin through an exchange like Coinbase and wire the funds to your account, subject to tax liability... or you can spend them. I spent over 5k in winnings directly through Newegg, Tigerdirect, and Overstock. I got all kinds of stuff for my new house. Projector TV, Playstation 4 and a bunch of games, even a nice electric self propelled lawnmower.

You should either run the bitcoin client on your PC and withdraw to an address you generated, or you can use a popular online wallet such as Blockchain.info. It's slightly less secure, as their sites could be compromised, but it's secure enough for me. Also, make SURE you back up your wallet and encryption key to both a USB stick in the safe, and also printed out on paper.

Quick question: After you have withdrawn in bitcoin, and you move it to your coinbase wallet, can you convert it to USD and leave it in coinbase? Basically to avoid the bitcoin fluctuations? Or do you only convert it to USD when you move it to your bank?

Each of these offer instant buys, which will instantly put $$ in your btc account. The negative is with Circle I only have $300 a week and with Coinbase its $200 a week. Generally speaking I like to deposit and withdraw larger amounts and the only way, currently, I have with these two is to deposit funds via ACH from my bank account with Coinbase, but it generally takes about 7 working days to see the btc in your CB account. I realize over time you "build credit" and they will raise the limits, but its a hassle for now.
Otherwise, bitcoin is awesome. For years--since NetTeller days-- I have had to drive to the local Moneygram office and pass along funds. Pain in the hind parts. This way is done completely over the web. Its really a quick process. Get a registered account via CB or Circle, get your account verified by linking a checking account (takes a few days), then deposit funds. US $ are converted to btc at the exchange rate, you then transfer to a wallet--I use blockchain.com per recommendation, get an address from the cashier at your sports book...copy/paste to blockchain, send funds, and whammy! Then after some time I emailed the manager an they for gave my previous credit card error an allowed me the opportunity to use my debit card. Not only was the manager understanding they were very quick to fix the problem. I have won over $1500 in lottery an casino winnings an have had no problems withdrawing my funds it may be a 24 to 48 hr wait but you get what is due to you. Thanks 5Dimes an continue to do right by good people an your business shall continue to grow!!
