What's The Appropriate Way To Deal With A Stiff?

My bookie doesn't post online, so he asked me to post this and ask for opinions.  What's the appropriate way to deal with a stiff when the stiff stops answering the phone?  Call his home?  Call his work?  Show up at his work or home?

That is why you get his driver license, home and work address, phone numbers, copies of bank account statements and paycheck stubs, before you accept him as a customer.

This post is not helpful in any manner,1st off solid books know who they are dealing with.Next off good books want to keep a low profile.If a player has a strong referal,he may  get a small credit line.In most cases today the books want a deposit for the amount of the credit line. Last most books who have a problem in todays market do not beat up the players like in the olds day it is not worth the heat, cops irs,only your low life street thugs deal in that manner. Your good solid gamblers do not deal in those circles. There is your answer so lets move on,

No. You dont know anything. You are either a stiff player or a wannabe stiff local bookie. Stiffs never show bookies or players their address. They stiff and disappear if they lose. People that dont stiff have no problem showing their work and home address. Therefore, they cant run away if they owe.

edison... you need a lesson in local bookmaking my freind. number 1 if a bookie is owed money he never represents himself personally. He has "runners". number 2 "appropriate" are you kidding me? your in business that the govt considers illegal. so to begin with your not doing anything "appropriate". number 3 drivers license bank statements paycheck stubs? you gotta be joking... what are you a cop? trying to find there credit score? or accepting job applications? your in a business where you deal with some ppl who probably havent always been "appropriate" side of the law anyways. and i use appropriate loosely. number 4 frankly its not really your business what he does for work or how much money he has in his bank acct. granted knowing more about him does him but its got to be non chalantly you cant just straight up ask him. nobody in this business likes getting the 3rd degree. number 5 why are you posting this? I dont undertsand why your so nervous. you have to understand something edison hes not going to call the cops. what is he going to  say i placed an illegal bet with this bookie and i cant pay. can you arrest him. your admiting to a crime yourself. number 6 it seems to me you or your "bookie" have zero connections and without that or a repuation as a "tough guy" you wont get anybody calling you to pay you. with no rep or connections you have no support. fyi your cousin who works at bk doesnt count as a connection. I personally think your the one that got stiffed. and you cant man up

I never said anything about the bookie "represent" himself to collect, dumb ass.  Now stop stalking me, stupid little kid.  You don't know shit about anything in this business so go play with your dad's dick in the basement, person.

And you're obviously a stiff.  If you play with a bookie who requires you to let him see your driver license and you refuse, then you don't get to play.  It's that simple.  If you lose and stiff, obviously you're trying to wiggle out of a bet by hiding.  Now if a bookie has your driver license and knows where you work, I guarantee you will NOT have the balls to stiff because SOMETHING will happen to your car!  You can book that!

kudos... to you oddsmaker... i just moved from jersey to ga about 2 months ago and my god are the "bookmakers" here horrid. I tried talkin to someone to just start off the season with football squares you know something simple... that dont know what it is nor when i explained it to him he couldnt grasp it either. I mean its the most easiest common simpliest thing out there. but before i talked to him about bookmaking he asked for my 2 most recent pay stubs(lol) edison must be from the south i heard hes been married 3 times and still has the same in laws
