Mark: Yes sir. Tony: ruled a draw Tony: graded as a draw Tony: "5Dimes does not recognize suspended games, protests, overturned decisions, etc., for wagering purposes." Mark: Not ruled a draw. Per WWE official results, the Miz defeated John Cena. This result is available on their website. Tony: then the the rock comes out Tony: "overturns the decision" Tony: it was stated on cover.com we'd go with the announced result, and no overturns Tony: i don't care what WWE website says Tony: announced draw Tony: and graded as such Tony: anything else is an "overturn" Mark: When was the verbiage "overturns the decision" used during the match? Also, so the WWE website isn't the official result? Tony: consider everything i just said Tony: copied and pasted again Tony: as that is your answer Tony: same thing happened in the lawler fight Tony: he won Tony: he was announced the winner Tony: they partied and drank beer in the ring Tony: 5-10 minutes later, its overturned Tony: don't care Tony: already announced the winner Tony: grade stands as "no overturns" Mark: It was 5-10 SECONDS Tony. Tony: if you don't like how its handled, then don't bet on WWE Tony: don't bet on hot dog eating contests

Mark: That "draw" result was never official nor verified. Tony: both events were handled in the same manner Tony: you bet your ass it was Tony: and it was graded as soon as it was said on the loudspeakers Tony: doesn't matter if its 5 seconds Tony: or 5 minutes Tony: or 5 hours Tony: when its done, its graded, and that is it Tony: if you don't like it, then don't bet on crap like this Mark: Can you verify that these were the criteria posted by 5dimes regarding the event? Mark: Daniel:
Results will be graded/regraded based on the official result at
ringside. A result may be revised or altered after initial presentation
by the ring announcer. Results are not official for wagering purposes
until verified by officials at the fighting venue. Official or
unofficial sanctioning body overturns of a fight decision based on
appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug testing result, or any other fighter
sanction will not be recognized for wagering purposes. Tony: was this a boxing match? Tony: was this MMA ? Mark: These were the rules posted by 5dimes regarding the way the event will be graded, correct? Tony: why do you answer my questions with a question? Tony: are you just trying to piss me off? Mark: "A result may be revised or altered after initial presentation by the ring announcer" Tony: i'm going to ask one more time Mark: The INITIAL presentation was a draw. Tony: and if you don't bother to answer my question, then this chat is done Tony: is that clear? Mark: The final OFFICIAL result was altered to The Miz defeated Cena via pinfall, correct?

Tony: get off my chat Tony: close your account if you want Tony: but don't bother asking for me again Mark: These are the criteria in which you said the event would be graded, correct? Tony: how much did this decision effect your account balance? Mark: Why
am I being treated as a bad guy here when I'm going EXACTLY based on
the parameters you set when you decided to offer this proposition. Mark: ? Tony: what is it i have to say everything twice? Mark: over $2,000 dollars Tony: why is it? Mark: I would let it slide if it wasn't such a significant amount. Tony: next time you've got 2k riding on WWE, you should think again about what you've gotten yourself into Tony: as this event is graded as per the ruling announced over a livespeaker Tony: as per the www.covers.com
interview i did, it was made clear my decision final Tony: and we were going with what was announced Tony: so i followed thru with exactly what i did Mark: The official result announced over the loudspeaker was "Your winner, and still WWE Champion, The Miz." Tony: some people are happy Tony: some aren't Tony: i don't recoginze overturned decisions Tony: period Tony: it was graded before any of that happens Mark: The official result recorded for the event was The Miz was the winner. What exactly is there to dispute here? Tony: you do what you want Tony: my decison is final Mark: C'mon Tony, we both know that isn't true. Also, would that apply to any event that isn't graded correctly? Tony: i suggest never betting on anything here again T

ony: as its clear you don't appreciate my decison making ability Tony: so we're done here Mark: So you are not willing to concede any error in this matter? Several other sportsbooks graded the event correctly. Tony: we made up the odds for this event Tony: all other operations copied us Tony: those other books stated "official WWE results" Tony: we did not Tony: as i've been doing wrestlemania for half a decade now Tony: always go with what is announced Tony: as they always overturn a ton of things later Tony: people don't want to wait for a website to be updated the next day Tony: they want it graded when its announced, so they can bet on the next option Tony: some people win, some people lose Tony: and in this case, everyone got a draw, because that is what was announced Mark: "Results
are not official for wagering purposes until verified by officials at
the fighting venue." The verified results by officials at the fighting
venue was The Miz was victorious. Tony: was this a boxing match? was this MMA? Mark: Also, the event wasn't graded until almost half an hour after the conclusion of the show. Tony: as your quoting rules from another sport Tony: this is made up shit Tony: its not real, in case you didn't know Mark: I'm
quoting the rules given to me by your customer service team and these
were the rules you posted as to how the event would be graded. Mark: Were they not? Tony: i could care less about customer service Tony: some of kids have worked here a week

Mark: These
were also the rules posted on the site prior to the event. As general
manager, I'm sure you were aware that these were the rules posted as far
as grading of the event was concerned. Tony: its my site Tony: i'm the owner Tony: i wrote the rules Tony: i made up the lines on all this crap Tony: i've made up all the lines on this for the past 5 of these Tony: i handle it all the same way Tony: it wasn't a tennis match Tony: it wasn't hockey Mark: Can
you split the difference? It's a reasonable resolution that I'm willing
to accept. Also, it would go a long way in burying this lingering
issue. Tony: it wasn't MMA Tony: and it wasn't boxing Tony: there will be no split of anything Tony: the grade stands Mark: Was your ruling based on the 6 figure handle you wrote on the event? Tony: of course it was Tony: my goal was to fuck everyone out of their money Tony: i graded lawler the winner based on it being announced in the ring as such Tony: then i did the same with this one Tony: if i had graded the miz one any differently than how the first "overturn" was handled, then i look like an ass Tony: in the end, we needed miz and we needed michael cole Mark: That's not true. This event, per the rules, was to be graded on the official results as verified by officials at the venue. Tony: and for you to accuse me of actually grading an event based on what we needed is a complete insult Tony: what rules? Tony: only rule we have is we don't honor overturned decisions Mark: The rules posted on your website regarding the grading of this event. Tony: so back under the rock of the forum you crawled in from and let them all know what i just said

I feel much better now about closing my 5dimes account last year. To that affect all offshore accounts. The local has always been the easiest to contend with and besides with 5% juice, it really can't be beat.
Good luck Mark.

Wow. A couple things. This guy may have a point, but what a dick. My guess is you weren't the only person to complain today and he's prob. sick of this shit by now. But seriously, he has to be regretting leading out on the line for this event now. Lesson learned Tony, your over your head in this WWE thing.
Man, what bad press for 5dimes.

5dimes is a great book. Betting on staged wrestling is asking for trouble though. I agree that you got screwed but like tony said.....don't bet on this crap. Sorry bro, I thought they'd reverse the call for you.

I've heard this arguement time and time again. If the initial results are overturned...it DOESN'T MATTER (no pun intended).
I see nobody complaining about Lawler winning and then the decision being overturned to have Cole winning.
The rules basically state that once a match is final for the first time...it's final since they don't go by overturned decisions.
I understand that people are mad about this...but these are the things that nobody saw coming. I remember following this last year and won all my picks because none of these shenanigans occured.
This is only my second year betting on this and I'm not doing it anymore. If it went the same way as last year...than it's pretty easy to make money on. But it didn't...so it was fun talking about it leading up to the event...but it's over now.
