Incorrect. The rules state that "Results will be graded/regraded based on the official result at ringside. A result may be revised or altered after initial presentation by the ring announcer. Results are not official for wagering purposes until verified by officials at the fighting venue."

The initial presentation by the ring announcer was "revised or altered" to The Miz winning the match. The officials at the fighting venue (WWE) verified the result as The Miz as the winner. It's crystal clear. There is NOTHING to dispute.

It isn't even about the money at this point. It's about telling someone to go fuck themselves and explicitly stating that he can do whatever the fuck he wants with zero repercussions. It doesn't matter if it's the NFL, NCAA, NBA, etc.  It's the fact that your money is not safe there and they can and will not protect their players or give a fuck about the integrity of their operation.

Also, it's apparent that you have absolutely no protection having a bankroll at 5dimes, because ultimately you can told anything and you have to deal with it.

That right there is categorically false. I sat and watched my 5dimes account from the second that the match ended with the Miz being declared the victor. It was, at least, 10 to 15 minutes AFTER the PPV went off the air that the match was graded. I am 100% sure of this because I was refreshing like a hawk because I was concerned that they were gonna find a way to back out of a Miz win.

I have no idea if 100k is a lot to 5dimes. I doubt it based on your response. But if he's giving his own customers shit about having 2k riding on the event, what does that say when he literally has 50 times that much wagered on his end?

If they did it for every single Miz bet booked? Probably. But if they did it only for the squeaky wheels.... and to be honest, I don't really care about how they grade other wagers, just mine.

Once again, that's completely irrelevant. There was a clear winner and clear results posted for the event. It's really that simple.

If you believe that Tony had no financial interest in the grading of that wager, you're insane. He's already stated they took a six figure handle on the event. I'm certain that at least 1/3 of that handle was on the main event. It's fact that his ultimate decision (the one you must respect regardless of it's validity) was worth tens of thousands of dollars, if not significantly more. Since he can make the rules since he owns the site, which way do you think he based his "FINAL RULING" on?

Those guys at 5Dimes would have to have some kind of inside info to post odds right? I think they knew the result of that last match weeks before the event started...

They are probably getting some kind of kick back by offering lines to help sell events..

I went to 5D once Pinny stopped giving accounts to certain countries...

Never had problems with them before... With that said this sounds like BS...  But at the same time, you are betting on wrestling which is known for BS and controversy in their "scripts"...

If they went the other way there might be someone with the same issue being told that the decision is final even though they might disagree with how the wager was "graded"...

I think the bigger picture here is not just about 5dimes, but about betting professional Wrestling...

betus offered lines for TUF winner one time and it flopped on them because inside ifo leaked out.. I haven't seen them do it since...

I just can't see someone offering scripted wrestling lines unless they 100% knew what the outcomes were...

My guess is that Tony knew how he was going to handle the calls the minute he made the lines...

Is that our problem? No, it isn't. They wouldn't have to take the money back, they could do the right thing and eat it if necessary. The fact remains that there was an easy, official way to grade this event and they didn't do it. In fact, they didn't even grade the wager based on their own rules posted prior to the event.

In this thread alone they beat two posters out of over 3k. If you're the GM of a book, do you take +50k or -50k? That answer is an easy one.

Also, where the fuck is the olive branch? Instead of admitting some fault and making good on a wager offered to customers you're told to go fuck yourself and take your business elsewhere. THAT is the real salt in the wound about this situation.

I doubt he knew the results. The lines were way off on some, close to accurate on others. WWE is very tight lipped about the outcome of the matches on their biggest show of the year, I doubt that some gambling site is gonna be privy to them. Besides if they knew the results, then I doubt Edge would have been as big of a dog as he was

Well that cant be right. If they knew the results already why would they have ever moved the line? The miz went from +1000 to what +100? If they knew the results and knew everything was going to be cancelled they would have never moved the line

That's a complete cop out and totally ignoring the issue that this event was easy to grade. It also ignores the fact that Tony was able to make a decision based on what was beneficial to his book and not his players.

I am not against you guys at all, I was hoping that you got paid. I was just throwing some thoughts out there.

What i was saying was now that the results were final and they handled GOD knows how many calls and chats, i can't see them changing the bet and going back and taking away money from the guys who bet Cena and then having GOD knows how many more calls bitching...
