I heard what Lesner is asking for to make an appearance is downright ridiculous.

He's already signed on with them to a certain number of appearances. That contract ends at WM.

But yea...he got a great haul for that contract.

Punk v Rock will probably end the show. The Rock is bigger than the Rumble match.

Cena wins the Rumble in the second-to-last match of the night.  The crowd goes mild.

Rock beats Punk in the main event to win the title.  The crowd goes nuts.

Show ends with Cena & Rocky staring each other down in the ring.

I hope I'm wrong (since I feel that there are more interesting directions to go in), but WWE hasn't surprised me during the road to WM in years (they came close a few years ago when Undertaker Tombstoned John Cena on an episode of RAW, but they never mentioned that again).

Do you not believe it will be Cena v Rock for the title at WM? I really can't see any other way. Rock said that he'll headline WM. Only makes sense to get Cena back in the title picture to take the title from him. He's been without the Championship for way too long and Punk has had it for way too long. I'm not a fan of Cena with the title either but that's how it'll end up.

I would like to see Punk versus Cena versus Rock. If Cena and Rock match is before the rumble....CM Punk will win the rumble.

Rocky is the biggest star of the previous era.  Cena is the biggest star of this generation (even if you don't agree with that, you can agree that he's treated that way).  Rocky has never had a problem with giving anyone the rub.  You really think that the 'E is going to let its biggest star go down to Rock w/o getting that win back, which would essentially say that the biggest star of yesterday is better than the biggest star of today?

The biggest star today is CM Punk.  John Cena had his best years in the mid 2000s.  If CM Punk doesn't headline Wrestlemania in NY, there is something very wrong with WWE.

And he's held the title for over a year now. He's been rewarded.

Whether Rock wins at the Rumble or wins at the Elimination Chamber...he's going to headline WM against Cena. Why have Rock come back again to give a push to the heel at WM?

And Cena is still the big name in WWE. He's just been put on the backburner to CM Punk because they had anticipated Rock v Cena Part 2 for a while. He'll be the star again in notime.

That was a brutal "special" in terms of being overhyped.

And no wonder Miz went nowhere when he started as a face. Boy is he awful.

I understand the challenge... to get in the minds of the writers to predict the predictable outcome.  If it were that simple...

The problem here is that if/when there is a sizeable handle of wagering, the wagering will effect the outcome, leaving the betting public screwed again.  Slippery slope IMO... and I don't know why any reputable sports book would accept this
