Whats up Covers?
Some of you know me, others dont. I see some familiar names but mostly names I dont recognize. I used to post here frequently in college, actually in high school too, but when I got a job and this site was blocked there, i found myself posting less and less.
I am posting here tonight because I am doing a charity event this weekend, and I am accepting sponsors. The charity event is a Polar Plunge. I live in Philly and its gonna snow this weekend, but Saturday morning a bunch of people who sign up will be plunging into the Delaware River. People get sponsors for the event, and all proceeds go toward's the Special Olympics.
I have raised $1100+ for the event so far, and figured I would see if anybody here would like to contribute. I have had success in other forums, so I figured why not give this one a shot. I dont expect too many people to be busting out their wallets, considering you dont know me, but if one person here donates it would be worth posting. I think the organization is really phenomenal and maybe some of you would contribute money for the cause.
If I get any sponsors, ill post video of the plunge when its over, just so you all know its me and everything is legit. You can sponsor me by clicking here
Theres also info about the event there as well. I hope to hear back from some of you, any contribution no matter how small is appreciated. Im only soliciting you Covers folk because I truly care about this cause, and hope that some of you guys/girls do as well.
