Is Casino even a gambling movie? only thing i remember about that movie is peoples cars getting blown up,Joe Pesci getting raped by a baseball bat and other people getting shot

For me, The Hustler

There's a scene near the end of the movie, where Fats tells Fast Eddie, who's been talking too much

"Shoot pool, Fast Eddie"

He replies

"I am shooting pool, Fats. When I miss, you can shoot"

Dead Solid Perfect golf movie with Randy Quaid. About 15-20 years old but its a good movie

This movie I'm recommending is really off the beaten path - but it's prob. the best true gambling movie I have ever seen.

I saw this movie several months ago I think on the IFC channel - I rem. it after seeing the title of this thread.

The movie is called:  Tazza: The High Roller.  It's a South Korean film and it's subtitled - but it is really good - very dramatic and really captures the feel and look of gambling.

The game played in the movie is a Korean card game - it's hard to explain - I still don't fully understand it - but the movie / story is very good.

Def. check it out.
