Couple of hidden gems in south central Kansas.

Played the Cowboys Club
Loved the golf carts with the names of ex-Cowboy Players
I was in the Billy Joe Dupree cart
The Cowboy Logo in the fairway of one of the holes was another nice touch
Nice track

Not the best course but if you ever get chance to play Tour 18 in Dallas (not other Tour 18's like in Houston or elsewhere but just Dallas) it has some excellent remakes of famous holes. Some better then others but Amen Corner and the 17th at Sawgrass are great replicas.
Fricking Amen Corner is almost exact as is Sawgrass.

I have played Pine Valley so since there is no nicer course in the world thats my answer.
But I played college Golf at Hofstra so Bethpage Black holds a very special place in my heart.
In fact I have challenged many friends from around the country to try and break 80 on the black. I dont care what your handicap is.
It's VERY hard to do the first time you play it. Great track.

I'm sure not nearly as nice as the courses you guys have played, but played the Hilton in Vegas before it became the Wynn hotel. It was cool to walk around that course, and think about all the "Vegas" people that might have been right where you were at one time. And also all the PGA pro's...... Just wanted to say I played it before it was gone.....

I think your thinking about the old Desert Inn Golf Course.
I played the old course in the late 90's and I agree it was pretty cool to think of all the people who played it before you. And it was a great course in it's own right.
But I did play the new course (now called Wynn Country Club) 3 years ago and I have to say from a pure Golf standpoint the new track is a major upgrade.

I am an idiot. The 2 best I have ever played are
Glenmaura National in Scranton PA. The town is kinda a dump but unreal golf course.
San Isidro Golf Club in Guatamala city. I may actually try to post a picture in my avatar at some point. Absolutely perfect shape. Bent grass everything. Volcanoes in the back ground. Great place a recommend to anyone that goes to Guatemala.
