I have a friend who works on the clock and have been following the progress through his stories with pictures and videos for some years now. Pre-covid.

This is the website to the clock. It tells how it’s funded and who’s doing all the work. It’s actually been in the works for some expanded time now. So I have to correct myself because I thought Bezos was behind this. He’s likely donated to the foundation a large sum and the mountain is on his land. That’s what’s implied. At least he’s happy he’s getting a lot of publicity for it.
