I mentioned this in the political forum but this forum has many more viewers and I want to get this message out. There are people in this county worse off than most entering this forum & you can utilize the time you would normally spend capping sports to do something that will help someone in your community.
sundance met the request by helping his ex-wife who was experiencing car issues. This morning, I mowed the lawn of a neighbor who has the beginning stages of Parkinson's. There are plenty of things you can do as well & I ask that you act on this request and post your kind deed right here. Your good deed may inspire others to act accordingly. No bullshit stories are allowed in this thread.
Now get off your asses and do something positive for society.
Thanks in advance.

Losing a parent leaves a huge hole in our soul which can be filled again with the good deeds we do in their honor. I agree this should be an everyday thought to do what's right with even the smallest of interactions...holding a door/elevator door for a person, saying please/thank you or a simple smile can make someone's day.
I'm a firm believer that our parents watch over us even when we can't see them. We feel them in our heart.
Stay well pb.

For all you degenerates that have forgotten how to be nice, next time you go grocery shopping give the cashier a candy bar. You can buy it right at the register, pay for it & hand it to the cashier while thanking them for coming to work so you can buy shit.
You'll remember the smile on their face for at least the rest of the day.
Do it!
Please

This morning I got a call from the Veterans Home in Grand Rapids, MI. They are in lock down & had a need.
They have large 5 gallon disinfectant used to clean rooms, dining areas etc. But they didn't have small liter sized bottles that nurses and others could easily/quickly carry from & to the various areas. They located a local company that had 100 plastic bottles and 100 plastic triggers that could be delivered immediately. They needed a donor to pay for the purchase because they didn't have any other way to purchase the items because the internal approval bureaucracy would have taken weeks & the products would not have been available.
They provided me the vendors phone# & I contacted the small business owner. I told him I would pay for the purchase (less than 2 hundy) but challenged him to do something nice for the veterans. He accepted the challenge & reduced each bottle and trigger by 20 cents. I thanked him & gave him my cc info.
I just got a call from my Veterans contact Deanna & they received the items already. Because of the lock down the product was left outside on the loading dock.
Now it's your turn. There are no acceptable excuses.
Do something nice for someone today.

Where are all the All Stars, MVP's, Hall of Famers & Legends touting their good deeds? People in these forums respect & follow your leads. Everyone in here is proud when they give out a winner. How about being proud of doing a good deed for someone, sharing it & giving others an idea they can use to help others? Let's go! No excuses.
I like your patriotism during these times. I’ll try to keep that in mind.

OK, so you didn't like the candy bar idea. So donate a pint of blood tomorrow. It's needed & the life you save may be someone you know or for that matter don't know. Get off your asses you farking degenerates!

The stress level will rise & fuses will burn faster in the days to come. Get what you need for yourself & extended family. Drop anchor & stay at home. Act like you have the virus & avoid people if possible.
Just finished making my world famous meat lasagna using my secret gravy (aka marinara). Actually, it's Rao's gravy from the great Italian restaurant in Harlem. You can get it at most grocery stores.
Anyway, we have neighbors across the street who work in the hospital & get home @ 12:45 am every morning. The wife is a doctor & the dude is a nurse. Go figure. Lucky dude.
I left them a note on their garage door to call me when they get home tonight. They know we stay awake late so it's not uncommon. When they call, my wife will bring over the lasagna with a package of crescent rolls. We don't bake & they can make them fresh to dip into the gravy.
How about you? Have you done a nice thing for somebody yet?
Do something good you miserable degenerate farkers!

Maybe this will wake everyone in the country up... We have 31,000 confirmed with the virus and have lost 389 Americans. For all you math degenerates that equates to a death rate of 12.5%.
thats 1.25 %

despite currently at 1.25% I have no doubt that it’ll go up. We can be like Italy, or we can be like Taiwan or S. Korea.

A buddy of mine from work dropped off a bottle of home made hand sanitizer on my parents door step today. They are both senior citizens, and my pop has Parkinson's.
I felt the gesture deep inside. We need more of these kind of acts

Checked in on a senior citizen this morning who lost her husband recently. He was a Korean War vet who I would take fishing ever couple of months with 2 of his buddies.
She was all upset because she couldn't go to mass on Sunday and she ran out of holy water. I told her I would take care of it.
So I called the church rectory & asked the nun who answered to ask the Monsignor to bless some water & I would come by to pick it up.
I went to the rectory and found a 3 oz bottle of water on the counter & under the bottle was a donation envelope. I was like WTF? Does this priest expect me to make a donation because he's giving a parishioner 3 ounces of holy water?
I returned home, left the water bottle in the neighbor's mail box & called to let her know where to find it.
I did a good deed but I am so pissed at the way the church handled it. The Catholic Church is one of the richest establishments in the world but they still try to bleed their parishioners dry during an national emergency.
We live in a strange farking world.

If you know someone home bound, give them a call and shoot the shit with them. The elderly always love talking on the phone & hearing a friendly voice. Do something positive you degenerates.
My Mom and I do internet communication but when my wife called her yesterday and we went facetime you could really see the joy in her face and attitude. Still working(for now) and encouraging all of my customers to stay positive but responsible.
Many of us have(had) parents or grandparents whose lives were forever changed during World War 2. Men left not only their jobs but their families to fight an overseas war for up to 3 years. Many never came home. Right now we're just being asked to sit around the house and watch TV with a bag of microwave popcorn. Come on people, smile
