I know thousands of people that used to smoke weed, but now they do crack and heroine because the weed high was no longer good enough after a while and they just needed more.

He's a doctor, so I'm sure he's not stupid.  But intelligent people do sometimes say dumb things.  And he most certainly has done that.

 Maybe not,but there are many of his colleagues that have questioned his methods. Also he is a self admitted narcissist that is overly crtical of anyone that enjoys even an occasional drink or toke.

 If Dr.Drew doesn't do it,it must be dangerous behavior. He probably thinks that coffee drinkers are just a step away from shootin' up heroin.

Anyone who says that weed is a gateway drug-is just plain wrong. I've smoked plenty of weed over the years  & have NEVER had any inclination to do anything beyond that. Beer & occasional weed works well for me.  The buzz from weed is good & i've never had any need for a greater buzz from anything else. Most of my friends are the same way. Weed is a take it or leave it drug. It's not gonna hook you & it's not gonna cause you to go on to harder drugs.

I've always considered alcohol the gateway drug, smoking weed never gave me the urge to do shit like blow but getting drunk sure the hell did.... And yes pot can be addictive, if your doing the wake and bake thing every day you are addicted. I smoked weed every day for about 15 years. When I had a day job I always had a joint waiting for me in the car for the commute home, when I made my living from the herb I was high all day. When I had to cool it for awhile the withdrawls were little more than being irratable and a little insomnia for a few weeks.

Yup, because stupid people only listen to things they want to hear. I will take a mixture of street smarts, books smarts, and a open mind any day. Over any "educated" man who has a one track mind. I stick to facts, not paranoid delusional opinions and the facts are... pot is harmless. What do conservatives know about facts anyway.

sugar is the gateway drug. It is forced on us from a very young age and is socially acceptable, even though it is super addictive and very harmful to the human body

but these threads bore the hell out of me and usually i stay out of them, because even with all the information that is out there, i still buy into the propaganda from the 1930's that mexicans and negroes will come and rape up all my white women if they are allowed to get crazy on dope. And i'm certain that less people are using it now that it is illegal, than would be using it if it wasn't

i think it's pretty funny that he thinks that people have two different avatars, one for mobile and one for land line computing, not realizing that if he pressed F5 on the cpu, the avatar would refresh.

and i think it is scarier than taking a finger in the butt, that in the year 2012, that an American on a gambling website is offended by an image of nugs. Have you ever looked at peoples avatars on this gambling website?

I used to smoke weed but I had to stop for my job. I'm sure I'll smoke it again when my job permits.. I really don't drink, never did coke,heroin,meth.. I have tried shrooms once and lsd once.. that was enough.. I've been smoking for about 20 years.. not so much the last 2 or 3 years because of work and the withdrawals are definitely night sweats,insomnia, and crazy dreams.

also i have taken 1 toke on the weekend here and there.. it gets you high as balls and doesn't show up on a drug test cause theres not enough to build up in your system.. Toked on saturday and drug test on tuesday,,no problems  that happened twice
