One day at a time. Maybe tomorrow, but not today.
Good luck Kuddish.
I have no advice for you because I just am not an expert - but you have been around here a long time and I respect you.
It will all work out.

Professional help is the way you need to go... don't stop at anything shorter than that...especially if you are having suicidal thoughts.

KUDDISH.....
everyone handles it differently, ive been through it for drugs and alchohol, and attemped for gambling, best thing to do is go to a gambers anonymous meeting where you will find people that were in the same situation as yourself, that you can relate to and that you can learn from. GA meetings are very common if you do a search online you can find one in your area, i used to get high, drink, and gamble almost every day for over 10 years, i cut out everything except gambling because i never really wanted to stop gambling, but i only gamble occasionally now .
good luck

Hang in there Kuddish. Been exactly where you're at brother in many ways. Gambling is serious chit boys as you know and can lead to depression that's very dangerous and intense.
Rest and heal K - you'll be alright. Need to talk, get hold of any of us anytime.

Anyone that has knowledge or experience with recovery from gambling disease.
I don't. And I just try to make it a practice to not give advice when I don't know what I am talking about.
But I certainly don't blame anyone who does. I was simply trying to tell Kuddish that I support him and wish him the best.

I quit cigarettes about 3 months back, and the way I did it was to just "mess" with your brain by switching your daily activities up to break up your neural-pathways (look it up if you don't know what those are). Brush your teeth with the other hand, put on your clothes with the other hand/foot first. Do something completely abnormal for you when you first wake up and when you are ready for bed...
Just switch up your routines, cause they all lead down the same path with the same thoughts and feelings.
Best of luck man, you are a champ!
