We're going to beat the Americans in the medal count.
Sorry, the "true" medal count, which counted gold medals...
Until, you guessed it, the whiny Americans fussed and cried to have the rules changed to benefit them, and now their stockpile of bronze medals will get them the title.

We've definitely got a chance to win the most gold medals. I didn't even realize that until today. Hopefully we can also pass Norway for a top 3 finish. That's something within our grasp and we could jump up to third by the end of the day possibly if we do well in curling and the short track. Not quite sure if Norway's got some medal hopefuls for the coming days.

We could be on top of the golds by the end of the day depending on how our lady curlers do!

Canada's men in Long Track Team Pursuit just advanced to tomm's Gold Medal race - that makes at least THREE guaranteed medals to be added eventually - four if Canada beats Slovakia tonight
