I think I'm close, and I can probably look it up somehow.  It was sometime around July 2-5 in 2004.

Thanks guys really appreciate, I think early to the bleachers for us. Simply for the experience. Gonna try to plan everything else before going which isnt really my cup as tea as I tend to kinda do what I want. Should be fun.

I would suggest a day game at wrigley to get the full flavor, the day  I went last year turned out to be the coldest day on that date in chicago history ( july game vs braves) - take a boat ride on the river , short, sweet and very scenic

One last thing, when you first walk into the stadium and you see the field for the first time, stop and take it all in. It is simply amazing.

Visited a few years ago and loved Wrigley, saw a White Sox game too since they were home also...I suggest doing the same and knocking out 2 stadiums in one trip.....if the schedule works out that way.

The Italian-American sports museum is worth checking out. I went when they first opened and they were still piecing things together....very interesting if your into that.

Another great thing about Wrigley is they sell imported beer on ice like Heineken etc up & down the aisles. No need to wait in line at a stand....
