I think it's funny when people say they can do 100 and then have fucked up form, their elbows aren't even coming close to 90 degrees or they aren't fully extending on the way up.
I would say 50 proper form push ups. Maybe 60 on a good day.
I tried a program like this(app on my phone) and it didn't work for me. Altough it did increase the amount I could do.

Well my best is 76 in 2 minutes during our biannual PFA. This was years ago when I was much more fit and in my prime. Well you know how it's done in the military - 2 minutes and once you drop, it's over. Usually I stop at around 50. Saving myself for the sit-ups and run.
