You might not agree but neither of these parties historically are more correct than the other.
If you are going to reply about the UN from 60 yrs ago, I dont think that satisfies both parties..as this issue has roots which date back thousands of years.

Do you really believe this is about "satisfying both parties?" You really need to do a little more study on the subject...

Of course not, but there are two parties involved here..both groups feel as if they are correct that the other is wrong. I know quite a bit about the subject actually and what I said is correct.
The UN "giving" the area to Israel means nothing to others in the area..this disagreement goes back thousands of years..that is a fact.

For those of you who think both parties are in the wrong, ask yourself these two questions...
1. Are there any Middle Eastern countries that want to make peace with Israel?
2. Does Israel want peace?
Of course those are rhetorical questions. Israel wants peace. The rest of the Middle East doesn't. NFLCapper is right.
I think a few of you need to brush up on the history of the area outside the last 50 yrs.
Israel wants peace given they get what they want..the others in the area feel robbed of their land. If you were to say to Israel that the UN had no right to do what they did and now Israel has to vacate, do you think they would be as peaceful as you allegedly claim they are?

I would be honored to be enlightened...

America and Israel both need to defend their borders. One country is feckless, the other fearless. Time for America to man-up. Time for Israel to turn hamas into hummus, something they've done for 60 years.

It is all about vantage point. If you side with one group then you follow their rationale..if you side with the other then vice versa.
So what about the history in that area do you not understand?
Do you think the non-Israeli groups there feel what the UN did was justified? Would you feel that way if that happened against you?
What is it about my statement you don't understand? You make the statement that you know a lot about the situation, so I merely stated I would be honored to be enlightened with your vast knowledge of the situation.

The Middle East in a nutshell by Dennis Prager. I know Prager is a conservative but tell me where he's wrong.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv0HRFf5Tmg
He is wrong for the reasons I stated above. He isnt wrong as to his SHORT TERM observations, but as I said above again..please go back further than 50 years..more like 2500 years and then your context will be proper.
This isnt about the British giving area to Israel or the UN giving area to Israel..it might be to those who side with Israel, but to the majority who do not...neither the British or the UN had the right to do what they did.
Go back much much further to when Israel came in and claimed the land to be theirs..well they claimed that a higher deity/power gave them the land and that is correct to their vantage point. To all others who were there prior it was not correct.
So this has been going on for centuries, thousands of years..there are two sides to this conflict and neither are pure and 100% in the right.
Do you guys not know the long term history of that region? It wont matter what the UN or the British say to those non-Israelis living in the area..as it also would not to YOU if you were of that group.
