Bingo.
Bingo.
Alright, I'm sure you've all heard the story of the guy that was totally bored with his life...30 yrs old (balding), dead end job, living in a shithole town (Dallas, Ga. to be exact) that woke up one day and said, "to hell with it all, I'm moving to Vegas and becoming a professional sports handicapper."
I did the whole college thing...actually went to Kennesaw State University for 9 years and still don't have a degree, although technically, I have enough credits to have 3 different degrees. I've got the going-nowhere job going on...I manage a 3 minute, exterior express carwash and if I have to listen to one more customer try to tell me the car wash scratched their piece of shit kia I'm going to grab someone by their weave and hold their face in front of the high pressure wheel blasters...needless to say I can't take it anymore and have decided this is the year I do something totally drastic and follow my dream for a change.
A wise man once said, "To be truly successful in life, you must do something you are passionate about."....which got me to thinking, the only thing I've ever been passionate about is sports betting. I've been capping games since I graduated highschool in 1998. I've followed the life of Steve Budin (Bets, Drugs and Rock n' Roll is one of the best books of all time) and have come to the conclusion that it is time I took a calculated risk.
Sadly we all know how this story ends 90% of the time. Within 6 months, the undisiplined, egotistical, get-rich-quick schemer is back home, working back at the same dead end job and broker than they were before....and to that I say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have now told myself, If I can pick 60% winners from now until Aug. 1st, Im renting myself a condo and planting my ass at the Mirage....Follow my journey!!
Did you listen to the Covers Radio Show today?
The Prez and Steve Merrill talk about this thread and have got some good advice.

Towards the middle of the show after they finished with the bowl games, say about after 15-20 minutes into the show.

I'm currently not actually placing wagers online on the games I'm picking...just picking them on wagerline (i.e. I'm not making any money off of my picks)...and I'm just using 60% as a gauge to see if I can pick enough winners to make an uproot worth while. I'm definitely not ignorant and have no problem listening to (and applying) sound advice....
Thanks for letting me know about the advantages of betting offshore (higher limits on totals, more wagering options, less juice, etc)...Didn't I mention I had bet online for a long time and am well aware of the advantages that offshore betting provides!!!....Unlike some of you however, I also realize there are some disadvantages to offshore wagering (like potentially moving to a shitty third world country, having to constantly shuffle money around, receiving checks that my bank may or may not cash...on top of having to wait weeks to get the payment in the first place)

I ALREADY KNOW THAT OFFSHORE BETTING PROVIDES BETTER LINES!!!!.....As far as moving south of the border is concerned, what do you all think about Ciudad Juarez...I hear the local police force is hiring...I could subsidize my gambling habit, my family would be in a safe environment, and I'll get much better lines, and I won't have to worry about the man comin down on me...Great idea!

And Steve Budin "put online gambling on the map" because he says he did and wrote a book about it?
You dont know shit about online gambling, otherwise we wouldnt even be having this discussion.
Steve Budin is currently a born again tout, selling picks like every other lying scheming tout. No wonder you like him.
And speaking of lying scheming touts, what do you think those two ass clown experts (and I use that term very loosely), "The Prez" and Steve Merrill are...you were so interested to hear what they had to say. I listened to their shit radio show yesterday....I found it rather amusing, especially the part where they say what a genius I am! haha...keep up the good work guys I use your show often to get my fades for the day.
As far as the book "Smart Money" goes, I own it and have read it twice...thanks for the recommendation though.
Gotta love touts!! (a.k.a. guys who make a living off of selling ridiculously overpriced educated guesses they got from information any asshole with a laptop could have found)- Wayne Root would be proud.

You are extremely naive.

I am interested in what anyone has to say, including wagerline picking, non-real money betting, square morons as evidenced by this thread.
And I never recommended "Smart Money".
I would lay 1000-1 that you couldnt make money sportsgambling even going 60%.

Even if you hit 60% over the span of a few months it's very hard to do it over the course of several years which you'll need to hit if you're going to be a pro gambler.55% is a more realistic target and as for moving overseas have you considered the UK or Ireland where sports betting is 100% legal and TAX FREE.You can bet in sportsbooks (bookie shops) on the street or online. There is a 2% betting tax on stakes which is paid by the bookie on bets placed in shops and there are dozens of online accounts to choose from all of which are fully licensed and regulated.
Also if you are into the financial markets you can bet on commodities, shares, forex etc. without being liable to tax which you would be if you were buying or selling shares or trades. This is known as financial spread betting or trading and is a good alternative to actually trading using a broker.

Wow, I said I wouldn't indulge your childish game...but oh well, it's entertaining.
I was referring to "Smart Money" as it was recommended to me by your buddies on Covers radio. Seeing as how you probably don't read what other people write since you are so busy pushing anything that covers pushes, I won't be looking to you for book recommendations....Love your last thread as well...."Hey guys, look at this guys major...hahaha" I see where your maturity level stands.

P.S. I GOT 5 ON It
Please read my previous posts about moving overseas...thanks
